As an event/wedding planner I know how important it is to work with professional and courteous vendors. The team at The Westport (Sara, Sage, Robin & Nicole) is nothing short of amazing! The first wedding we coordinated at The Westport in 2023 came together in less than a week and even though The Westport wasn't going to officially open their doors until 2024, they made magic happen and opened early. The wedding was an absolute hit and the support we (North State Events) and other vendors received from The Westport team was phenomenal.
And if you haven't been to this venue yet you are in for a pleasant surprise. The inside is a dream with an open floor concept for the reception area with exposed wooden beams, beautiful chandeliers, natural lighting during the day and soft lighting at night. Any pictures taken here are absolutely stunning! Through the barn doors is a whole other side that can be used for the ceremony space and extra seating/hangout areas for the reception.
There's also a separate bridal suite upstairs so we can keep the bride hidden until just the right moment and an area for the groom and groomsmen to get ready.
And last but certainly not least this venue is temperature controlled so they can hold weddings and other events in any kind of weather (hot or cold) and they are located in Downtown Chico so anyone who wants to keep the party going doesn't have to travel far to nearby bars/restaurants.
The Westport is the venue that Downtown Chico has always needed and anyone lucky enough to work with The Westport team will not be disappointed.

The building itself is a unique hidden gem with the exposed beams, gorgeous chandeliers and a prime location in downtown Chico. Every photograph that comes out of there is absolutely stunning! The team running The Westport is comprised of four business women who all have a passion and drive for flawless events that will create memories that will last a lifetime.
