Facilities and Capacity
The Waterview Lodge can hold up to 300 wedding guests for ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, elopements, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. This beautiful country retreat offers couples and guests a break from city life, though the city is not too far from reach. Columbus, Georgia is about 25 minutes from Waterview Lodge, making it easy to stop in you you need anything or want to visit any attractions. Built in 1940, the lodge is a beautiful work of craftsmanship with its large, spacious inside and rock fireplace. The interior is rustic yet warm and inviting, a truly intimate space to allow for wonderful memories and kinship on your special day. The beautiful outdoors also make for a stunning backdrop to your wedding with its phenomenal views of the waterfront and vibrant greenery. Awesome Wedding Venue!!!

We booked this venue for our Daughter’s Wedding. We rented the venue for the weekend, best thing ever...we did setup, rehearsal and Dinner on Friday, The bride and bridesmaids stayed in the big house and groom and groomsman stayed in grooms house Friday night. On Saturday we started at 9 getting ready for the 6:00 wedding and anyone that wanted to stay the night of the wedding stayed. This was the best venue, there is plenty of room for the catering setup, tables, wedding cake/dessert bar, and the DJ and the whole bar area is a plus!! We booked this venue a year in advance because my daughter fell in love with it right away.. Lee was very easy to work with. We had a blast and our daughter said her wedding was more than she had ever dreamt about!! This was a very special day and everything was perfect!!!

Beautiful Venue

It rained on my wedding day so we moved inside. This venue was not designed for an inside ceremony but it still works beautifully. There was plenty of room for my guests to move around and mingle while the room was reset. I love that they continuously upgraded the venue. And on top of all that.. they have plenty of table cloths, chair covers and even table decor available at the venue. I would definitely use them again even for other parties or gatherings. Their price for the entire weekend was less than what other venues wanted for 1 day. Plus there are lodging accommodations there for a bunch of people. It’s amazing.

My daughter's wedding was held here last Saturday, and we could not have been more pleased. We had about 285 guests in attendance. Waterview Lodge is a special place; my daughter and my wife, along with her ten bridesmaids, were able to stay the night Friday night after the rehearsal dinner (which was also held a special room of the lodge) and spend all day the next day getting ready and preparing for the big event that evening. The groom and all ten groomsmen were also able to stay on the premises in a separate house. They were able to help set up and even had some time for lawn games and volleyball. Some even stayed Saturday night after the wedding. I have to mention that the large industrial kitchen and the smaller full kitchen in the lodge were perfect for our caterer to use to prepare the meal and to serve, and for the family to use to prepare the dinner on Friday. There is also a full kitchen in the other house on the property where the guys stayed. The proprietor, Mr. Lee Jordan, is a wonderful man, who was always easy to reach and coordinate with during the many months of planning. He was very helpful, and always had positive and wise advice for all our many inquiries. I would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful lakeside lodge in Pine Mountain for weddings and other events. I cannot say enough about how special everything was. However, what really matters is what my daughter said to my son before leaving for her honeymoon late Saturday evening: "everything was perfect, and if I could go back and redo this day, I would not change a thing..." I have to say I am BEYOND happy I chose The Waterview Lodge for my big day! It was perfect! It didnt even need much decor considering it is already Beautiful as is! We had a great time staying all weekend and made things much easier! And the owner is amazing to work with anything we needed he was right on top of it! Thank you so much for making our day PERFECT

I had my wedding here in 2011 under previous ownership. This place is wonderful. The beauty of the outside made it possible for us to forgo ceremony decorations and just stand my the lake. My husband spent his day fishing while us giris out ready. Myself and bridesmaid stay the night before at the lodge and had plenty of room to get ready the day of. The lodge offers beautiful fireplaces that would add to any fall or winter wedding. The lodge offers a fully operational kitchen x2 and well as a beautiful wood bar. I hope to use the venue again for our 10 year anniversary.

Beautiful Beautiful Venue!!!

My daughter got married in Oct. 2018. I found this venue on the internet... had never heard of it. This venue is great!!! All the guests that attended my daughters wedding kept saying how beautiful it was and it was just perfect for a wedding. Lee and the staff really went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. It already has wedding decor there so you really don't have to do alot for a wedding. The venue itself it all you need to make a beautiful wedding! Plenty of room for dancing and dinner!

The owner is very easy to talk to and is willing to help any way that he can! The venue is gorgeous and has options to rent for the entire weekend.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

Lee (the owner of the Lodge) was super helpful. We had a very big wedding and there was plenty of space for everyone to fit comfortably. We got the Lodge from Friday to Sunday and it was the best weekend.

Lee was very helpful, but sometimes the lack of communication made things hard.

Overall, I loved our wedding weekend and would still recommend this place to anyone.
