The Southerly Venues is a wedding venue located in the historic district of Opelika, Alabama. With ample natural light, original brick walls, wooden beam ceilings, and stained concrete floors, this rustic industrial venue serves as the perfect setting to tell your unique story.

Facilities and Capacity

The Chandelier Room features nine oversized crystal chandeliers and exposed, original brick walls which make for a beautiful and intimate backdrop for any event. This historic space boasts the original windows and columns from the 1860s and is fully customizable and ready to be transformed. Adjacent to The Chandelier Room, The Garage Room features grand 20-foot vaulted ceilings, custom-made light fixtures, and its original wooden garage door, which can be opened for guests to enjoy a cool fall Southern evening. Together with the Chandelier Room, The Southerly can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. The Courtyard is a great spot for outside cocktails and summertime celebrations. Beautiful overhead stringed lights add a romantic ambiance to the event as guests enjoy the occasion long into the night. The Southerly Venues also offer two Wedding Suites, so that you and your wedding party can relax and share special moments together as you prepare for the day ahead.
