    Simply quaint, stunning and dreamy!

Where do I begin?? The Venue was absolutely stunning, my husband and I were blown away at how magical our day truly was! Hannah + Kate were so extremely accommodating at tending to all of our wants and needs that day! Our guests were just as blown away as we were with just how picturesque the venue was sitting out in the field under a sky full of stars! We highly recommend The Venue at Wildflower Ridge and can't wait to book with them for some of our smaller events in the future!

    Brides beware

I recently got married at the venue at Wildflower Ridge and advise any couple considering booking with the venue to proceed with caution....There were many promises made about what would be provided to us, and it is difficult for me to put into words how extremely disappointed I am in the difference of what we were told compared to what we actually received. We selected this venue for all the incredible amenities it had to offer. These included a building large enough for our 300+ guest list, an on-site bridal suite, a large stage to stand on during our ceremony and sit on during our reception, and a gorgeous and secluded property featuring a multi-acre lake. Unfortunately, on our wedding day, the only amenity provided to us was the venue itself - which was a stunning building to hold both our ceremony and our reception. However, the property was not aesthetically pleasing in the slightest. The gravel road leading up to the venue was extremely rough, there were giant storage units sitting at the edge of the “parking lot,” the future lake was a half-filled mudhole, and all of the ground surrounding the building was tire-tracked dirt covered in hydroseed and fertilizer. There was no bridal suite or large stage as advertised, nor was there any sod rolled out for landscaping or barn doors separating the main hall from the cocktail room as we were initially led to believe. Most importantly, we were given no apology for any of these false advertisements and the venue still expected full payment even though the aforementioned amenities we had agreed to pay for were not provided to us. If you are looking for an indoor wedding experience only, with no need or desire to spend the day on the property or take outdoor photos, then this venue will perfectly suit your needs. Conversely, if you are looking for the ease and convenience of an all-onsite wedding venue whose directors you can trust are true to their word, then be prepared for this place to fall short of your expectations. To say I feel deceived and taken advantage of would be an understatement.

In addition to my review, I am adding screenshots of what the venue advertises as included amenities. What was not provided for our wedding has been highlighted in yellow. *Please note that these experiences are from our wedding day only and are not to be used as a reflection of what may or may not be provided for future couples*

The Venue at Wildflower Ridge's reply:

Danika, we were so excited to host your special day - especially special to us because after almost a year’s worth of hard work by our family, you were our very first wedding! We had prepared for this day for a very long time, however, with us being brand new we were faced with a couple challenges - material delays, labor shortages , and time constraints to top the list. Unfortunately, mother nature hasn’t been good to us either this summer in Missouri with us only receiving less than 1-inch of rain. This definitely didn’t help fill our beautiful 4.5 acre, brand new lake in time for 10/22/22 - unfortunately, filling it with a water truck just wasn’t feasible. This lack of rain also didn’t help turn our 50 acre construction site into a lush beautiful field in time. Wildflowers also have a very specific planting season. According to our meetings with MDC, we are plant our beauties this winter. As for the building amenities, we have decided to include an optional stage instead of a permanent one as it ate up a lot of our floor space for larger weddings. Our custom barn doors are due to arrive next month and we’re so excited!
With the lack of communication from you in the weeks leading up to your wedding, we weren’t sure which direction to take on the bridal suite not being available for 10/22/22 so we took it upon ourselves to rent out an entire, local salon for your private event and pay for your gas and inconvenience - I know this was a bummer it wasn’t compete on site! We also weren’t aware of any concerns or disappointment until after the wedding but I’m also glad we could come to an agreement on crediting you for the lack of amenities, too. We’re bummed after everything we tried to do to make it right, you were still not pleased. But we hope and pray a lifetime of happiness for you both!
