I could go on and on about how amazing Sam and his crew are. From day one Sam was a fantastic vendor to work with. He helped me and my husband to customize an amazing rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and brunch menu that had a fun Montana flare for our various guests visiting the state for the first time. He even met the various dietary restrictions of my guests. He worked tirelessly answering my dozens of emails, texts, and phone calls to make sure everything was in place for the big weekend. When the weekend arrived Sam’s staff was phenomenal. Each catering staff member was constantly working hard throughout the weekend serving guests, bussing tables, and making sure all the guests were cared for. I received so many compliments from my guests on how amazing the food and staff were. I would recommend Sam and his team to anyone looking for a caterer! They made me and my husband’s wedding a dream come true!

Silk Road was a PERFECT caterer for our day. We will absolutely use them again for events. Highly professional and the food was unbeatable. All of those seemingly small and often forgotten touches were taken care of - and we could not be more please. Highest of recommendations!

Sam and the Silk Road crew were wonderful to work with for our 25 person wedding reception. Our guests loved the charcuterie spread provided after the ceremony as well as the main course of stuffed chicken and ratatouille. Every detail was taken care of down to wrapping up my dinner when I became distracted. Delicious food and an excellent choice for your day!

Silk Road Catering just catered our daughter’s wedding. Sam was so helpful before and during the event. The crew was efficient, professional and very friendly! The food was delicious! We had passed appetizers, a pasta buffet and a champagne toast. Everything was timed perfectly! I would not hesitate to recommend Silk Road for a Missoula area wedding!

Sam and his crew catered our daughter's wedding on 6/29/19 at Flathead Lake. The food and service provided by Silk Road was fantastic. Everything from the appetizers to the main course was out of this world. Service and set up was right on time. We didn't have do anything. We would hire Silk Road again in a heart beat.

Everything about my experience with the Silk Road was amazing. From initial correspondence and creating a menu, to accommodating for my budget, to making the day of flow perfectly. They even helped my volunteer bar tenders figure out how to help the traffic flow better around the drinks. Because Silk Road his catered to this location, they were expert in hamdeling the upstairs/downstairs component of the Teller Wildlife Refuge Barn. They were instrumental in creating a comfy, classy, family vibe. Nearly everyone e commented on how good both of our entres were and how intimate and convenient the family style salads and bread were. I cannot praise Sam Risho and everyone else at Silk Road enough!

Wonderful food. Easy to get ahold of. Lovely setup. Sam is fantastic and so is his staff! They even package up and let you keep the leftover food!

I really enjoyed working with the Silk Road and Ginny specifically. They listened to what we wanted and created an amazing menu for our big day. They offered suggestions on how to best manage a buffet, which included utilizing the staff that was already passing appetizers to serve a plated salad table by table so they never sat there waiting.

The day of, despite the rain, their servers and staff where kind and cheerful and professional.

Silk Road was great to work with for our destination wedding! They have great staff, the food is delicious, and customer service is awesome. My favorite part about them is during our dinner, he walked out and greeted our guest and then told everyone the food items. We were all drooling and super excited for our food! We went with salmon, steak with huckleberry glaze, and stuffed mushroom. All were so so good! Would highly recommend!

When we first met with Sam at the Silk Road, he was very interested in creating a menu and service presentation that would go with the feel of our wedding. He made suggestions and helped us clarify what we wanted out of our wedding, rather than just giving us a menu and telling us to call him with choices. It is better to call, rather than email, as it can take them a while to reply by email. Also, they were less flexible with our options as we got close to the event. At the reception, they were amazing. All of their staff members were very nice, professionally dressed and the food was great!
