Our wedding at Shawnee was nothing short of magical. Our wedding took place on October 5, 2024, at Shawnee Inn. From the moment we secured the venue, Tabitha was incredibly supportive and consistently available to assist us. We hosted our entire wedding weekend at this location, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Upon our arrival on Thursday, Jorge welcomed us warmly and provided invaluable assistance in transporting our wedding items to the conference room. On Friday, our guests participated in a round of golf, with JJ and Nick playing a pivotal role in organizing the outing. That evening, we held a welcome barbecue for all attendees, where the food was fantastic and the staff exemplary. On the morning of our wedding, we were treated to brunch while we prepared for the ceremony. Tabitha checked in frequently to ensure everything was proceeding smoothly. Our wedding ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn, which was breathtaking. It was followed by cocktail hour under the pavilion, which was truly stunning. The food and service during the cocktail hour were outstanding, with LaCresha ensuring that we, the brides, were well-fed and had drinks in hand. The reception took place in the main ballroom, where the dinner was delicious and the staff continued to impress us with their service. We concluded the celebration at the Brewery, where the staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly. It was a flawless day, and we are immensely grateful to everyone involved. We had no complaints whatsoever. The following day, we hosted a farewell brunch on the front porch, and once again, the staff was attentive, and the food was remarkable. The bloody mary bar was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the wonderful time they had at Shawnee. The hotel itself is beautiful and exudes charm; although it is an older establishment, it possesses a unique character. The friendly and helpful staff significantly enhanced our special day. We highly recommend Shawnee to anyone seeking a memorable venue.

We got married in July 28th 2024 at Shawnee Inn and Golf resort hotel. Beautiful place to have such big event! Wedding pictures with nature came out so well! Everything is so close by! We had our rehearsal dinner at Gem & Keystone Brew Pub! The food was great and service even better! We had after dinner party at Shawnee Craft Brewing company with live music! The ceremony was outside with gorgeous river and mountains view! Tabitha Wedding coordinator was so patient and kind with us and so professional! Reception dinner was great too! And after the reception dinner we went to the River room bar! And we had a blast that night! So many good memories to share later! We definitely recommend this amazing place! The Shawnee Inn was everything we wanted in a wedding venue and more. When we toured the venue, we loved the outdoor space on the water, the ballroom and the fact that there was a brewery on-site. Tabitha, who handles weddings at The Shawnee Inn, is an invaluable asset to planning your wedding - she is a great communicator, very accommodating and made us feel at ease through the entire planning process and wedding weekend.

We had our rehearsal dinner on-site at the beer garden the night before our wedding. The setup was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a chill hangout before the wedding.

We rented a cabin on-site where the bridesmaids stayed for the weekend/where the wedding party got ready the day-of. It served as the perfect "home base" for family members to pop in and out as well as a great hangout spot for the day.

As our ceremony was about to start, we got a pop-up summer downpour that drenched our ceremony space on the water. While it would've stressed us out, our guests were able to take cover under the pavilion to stay dry, Tabitha was already watching the weather radar and assuring us it would clear up in a few minutes, and staff were ready and waiting with towels to dry off the chairs. Despite the shower, everything was ready to go within minutes of the rain stopping, and we were able to stay on schedule because of how quickly the staff responded to the sudden storm.

We received a lot of compliments on the food as well as having ShawneeCraft beers available at the bar. While some guests rented AirBnbs in the area, many guests stayed on-site for the weekend and raved about how accommodating and kind the staff were.

Overall, our entire wedding weekend at The Shawnee Inn was absolutely incredible - would definitely recommend!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better venue! Tabitha-the wedding coordinator has been great since the beginning! We had issues with our previous venue and had 2 months to find a new one. She made the process so easy and smooth we wish we chose this place in the beginning. The views are literally breathtaking. Walking down the aisle I had to remember to look at my future husband vs the views behind him haha. It’s great to have a hotel with your venue so your guests can just go right upstairs whenever they want. The property has tons of activities that make this the perfect weekend wedding trip. The catering staff were amazing. Brought us our cocktail hr food during our photoshoot since we couldn’t make it over in time. Also were very attentive to us throughout the night. Loved this place and can’t wait to go back one day!

We got married at the Shawnee inn on 10/9/2021. Shawnee was the perfect location for us near my hometown in the Poconos and a prior vacation spot for my husband. But it was so much more than that. Our wedding weekend was absolute magic with many thanks to Tabitha and all of the other staff at the inn. From the communication before the wedding, to the rehearsal and dinner, the ceremony, reception (with amazing food) and the day after, we wouldnt change a thing. The girls and I loved getting ready at the spa and the hair and make up were everything we hoped for. We also loved having an after party at the brewery with pizzas and chicken tenders.
Our guests can not stop talking about the perfect venue, the delicious food and the fun they had. A huge plus is having several options for the ceremony and reception location for a plan b or even plan c. Wishing we could wedding all over again :)

Tabitha and her team at Shawnee were absolutely amazing during the entire wedding planning process and through the day of. My day went off without a hitch and the outdoor venue was perfect. Everyone raved about the food - specifically the pork chops. I'll try and add pictures once I receive them from my photographer.

The Shawnee Inn is a Hidden Gem! Tabitha, our wedding coordinator, was so down-to-earth and sweet and just a talented young woman. She took my vision and made it real. The location is to die for. The backdrop of the mountains and the river will make your wedding luxurious. Do yourself a favor. Forget a tent. The Pavillion does that for you. This venue had fantastic food. The guest loved every bit of it, which I thought was super cool, considering wedding food is usually pretty gross. People got two and three plates. The drinks were constantly flowing all night. Tabitha did all of the work setting up, and it was a lot of work. The people who helped serve were so lovely, and I appreciated all of them. Everyone impressed me so much they deserve a raise! Please check out the venue. The springtime is fantastic you will not regret it.

This venue was not only peaceful and beautiful, but the wedding coordinator Tabitha was also amazing! She knew what she was doing and it showed, she was very attentive to me and my wedding party and she was very good at explaining the details. The other staff that was part of my day were also very nice and very helpful. I don't think I could have picked a better venue!

I always dreamed of having a picture-perfect wedding in the mountains. However, I quickly realized how difficult that would be; turns out mountain venues often lack suitable lodging, and we had 160 guests attending our wedding all from out of town. Luckily, I found Shawnee Inn while looking for a banquet hall for another event, and I am so lucky that it proved to be everything I was looking for and more.
My immediate family visited in summer to take a tour and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We stayed overnight in one of their houses and had an amazing time: fireflies danced around the grounds, the main inn was warm and welcoming with that beautiful old-world charm, and there was so much to do on the property (nightly S’mores, hiking tours, whitewater rafting, as well as plenty of locations with benches and rocking chairs to just relax and enjoy the peace of nature). We knew instantly we need to make Shawnee Inn our home base for the wedding weekend.
I don’t think you can pick the wrong season to have your wedding here. We ended up having it in winter and the property was still gorgeous. Our guests raved about the location and many promised to visit again in the future for family trips. Tabitha and her team were incredibly accommodating. We needed a lot of rooms and a lot of space for several dinners, lunches, and a large Hindu ceremony. Tabitha never hesitated to give us what we needed or wanted. We felt incredibly pampered and attended to, and everything about the wedding went off without a hitch.
The rooms are charming with that cozy feel. My bridal suite was a dream with a big Jacuzzi tub and ample space for all my outfits and accessories. Every room I visited was inviting and comfortable for our guests; it’s no wonder so many people want to come out and visit again!
Every staff member was incredibly kind and attentive. I often found myself chatting with them in the hallways as they were always eager to get to know me and congratulate me on the big day. I can’t emphasize enough how friendly everyone was, and that kindness was incredibly appreciative on what can be a very stressful day! Hindu ceremonies are large affairs, and although Shawnee Inn had never hosted a Hindu ceremony before ours, I can tell you that everything went so smoothly you would have thought that had hosted tons! They have ample space for all of the rituals and traditions; I’m confident they can handle any type of wedding thrown their way.
Do yourself the favor of having your wedding at Shawnee. I left at the end of the weekend so thankful for everything they had done, for them making my wedding so special and memorable. I will have nothing but the fondest memories for the temporary home away from home, that so lovingly housed all of my friends and families, and that gave me such a beautiful wedding day.

We were beyond impressed by the Shawnee Inn and the wedding coordinator, Tabitha. The planning process was professional and easy. Our vision for the day was made possible by Tabitha's ability to turn our thoughts into reality. On the day of our wedding, all of the staff members at Shawnee were responsive to both our and our guests' needs. Even though it rained during our wedding, the day went flawlessly as everyone already knew what to do in the case of rain. We highly recommend Shawnee as a wedding venue.
