Our wedding at The Saint Paul Hotel was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we first visited, we felt a sense of timelessness and elegance that perfectly matched the feeling we wanted for our indoor winter wedding.

The ballroom itself is stunning, but what truly made the difference was the team behind it. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism, and the staff created an atmosphere that allowed the entire day to flow effortlessly. Our guests are still talking about how thoughtful the service was at the venue and hotel. They worked with us to modify food and beverage choices and guests commented it was some of the best wedding food they have had!

We would choose it again without hesitation and cannot recommend it highly enough.

It was a dream wedding for us st the St Paul Hotel. The credit goes to the hotels coordinator and their staff. We had a small wedding, but they were able to accommodate almost any size of wedding. Their personal touch made us feel like one of a kind on our day.

We had wedding at the Landmark Center and had The St. Paul Hotel cater the event. It was amazing, to food was outstanding, and the staff we so attentive to detail - serving 200 guests. I highly recommend them - they are dependable and deliver a white glove service!

As the mother-of-the-Bride, I was helping to find a location for a small wedding on October 31. Leslie Ingiald answered our call immediately with a gracious flair and a head for solutions to calm anyones nerves during this year's pandemic. She followed up on questions, explained how covid had modified the services available in the hotel but not the safety of its guests. She offered a tour so that we could see its uniqueness in person and suggested our wedding party book the suite and two rooms for the wedding party to get dressed and enjoy the views before the main event. She continued to follow up with me before and after the event to be sure we knew she was available to answer any questions. Following the wedding ceremony and newlywed photos in the grand stairway we ordered hors d'oeuvres and enjoyed a private dinner meal with champaign in their suite. We are so appreciative of everyone who took care to help make this day special, safe and memorable for our daughter, our new son-in-law and our guests. Thank you Leslie!

I couldn't be happier that we had our wedding reception at The Saint Paul Hotel. So many good things to say but I'll try to sum it up:

--The staff were incredible. Mary Jo was professional, warm, responsive, and has a great reputation for a reason. She really knows what she's doing and we were able to totally trust her! The service at our wedding was incredible! The food was served quickly, servers were very classy, and they were so warm and went up to us several times to congratulate us and make sure everything was going well.

--The Hotel is STUNNING! My husband and I honestly wish we had about another hour of photos just to capture the beauty of the Hotel even more/take photos in more spaces. It is so classy/elegant while still being inviting. Our guests felt at home and when I saw the ballroom for the first time, it took my breath away!

--The food was amazing! We did late night snacks and the chocolate bar and that was a fun touch!

The Saint Paul Hotel is truly the total package!!!

We used the Saint Paul Hotel as our caterer (at an offiste venue across the street) and we had basically our entire wedding staying there for the weekend. We LOVED our experience. Mary Jo is the most organized person alive and she made our wedding so smooth. We could not have asked for a more well-thought-out schedule. Also the FOOD! We constantly got comments about how good it was. I have no reservations about these guys. Definitely worth using!

When we began to tour different wedding venues to host our daughter and son in law’s wedding reception, we were considering location, aesthetics, atmosphere, amenities and of course the cost. What we did not consider at the time was the staff we would be interacting with throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding. Fortunately our daughter and her fiancé made a wise choice and chose the Saint Paul Hotel as their venue. We knew the hotel had a wonderful reputation for service and food, and we felt the wedding package was a fabulous option. Easy to understand and customize, and we did not have any hidden costs or surprises at the end.
What surprised us most was how caring and wonderful the staff was to work with at the Saint Paul Hotel. We were so fortunate to have had Mary Jo to help with the coordination of the reception. She is an amazing person to work with! She has had several years of experience and knows the industry well. Mary Jo helped with menu selection, decor, and several budget friendly suggestions to help create the vision Sally and Jack had for their reception. She understood what was important to everyone, first and foremost the bride and groom, and always kept their vision in mind.
Mary Jo was so thoughtful to include us parents in creating a special moment for us along with Sally and Jack for the first look at the dining room. It was breath taking to see . As parents, we will treasure that moment in our hearts and minds forever.
The wait staff and bartenders were wonderful to the guests and wedding party. Sally and Jack felt very honored and in awe that the wait staff were so kind and frequently asked them if they needed anything at all. Numerous guests commented on how lovely the service was and how incredible the food tasted. The chief was quick to react to a dietary concern that we were not made aware of ahead of time, and the guest was very appreciative. The next morning we hosted a brunch at the M Street Café and again experienced wonderful food and service. Mary Jo even arranged to have the hotel staff bring some of the floral arrangements used at the reception to the cafes reserved room.
I can truly say because of Mary Jo and the staff at the Saint Paul Hotel the whole process from planning to hosting the reception was a wonderful, joyful and stress free experience for our family.
It was a more than we ever thought it could be. Beautiful and Magical!

Stop what you are doing and book your ceremony and/or reception at The Saint Paul Hotel!!! We had both our ceremony and reception at The Saint Paul Hotel and could not recommend it more! We toured several venues in Saint Paul and were a bit reluctant to book a tour at The Saint Paul Hotel because we weren't sure if it would work for our budget. However, after visiting many venues, we realized many of them wanted to "nickel and dime" us for table linens, chairs, cake cutting fees, etc. - not at The Saint Paul Hotel! We found their wedding package to be a steal as it includes A LOT more than most other venues -and no "nickel and diming". After viewing the gorgeous Promenade ballroom and talking to Mary Jo Maloney for one minute, we knew it was the absolute perfect place to have our wedding! Mary Jo was an absolute DREAM to work with - you can tell she is truly passionate about her job and really cares about her clients. She was always so willing to meet with us at the hotel and answer emails/phone calls for any questions we had before our wedding day, was VERY attentive to detail, and made our wedding day absolutely PERFECT!!!! She is truly the best in the business - many of our vendors had worked with Mary Jo multiple times and were highly complimentary of her and the entire team at the hotel. Mary Jo takes on the role of contacting all of your vendors before the wedding day - photographer, florist, videographer, etc. and helps to make sure they know where to go, understand the timeline, etc.! The food and wait staff were also SO amazing - many of our guests commented on how attentive the wait staff was and how smoothly our day/timeline went compared to other venues they had attended weddings at. Thank you, Mary Jo and all staff at The Saint Paul Hotel for making our wedding day so special and memorable for us! We will cherish these memories forever and are so excited to come back for many anniversaries to come!

I had a New Years wedding at the SPH in the ballroom. I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful and elegant wedding even if I had tried. The space is already magnificent, and they still had all their holiday decorations up during our wedding. The food is fabulous - even our DJ said it was some of the best wedding food he's ever had. The service is second to none. The entire wait staff was amazing, and I had guests telling me weeks later how great their waiter was. We got ready in the bridal suite, and the experience was straight out of a movie. Our coordinator, Rachelle, unfortunately doesn't do weddings anymore, but she was wonderful to work with! I knew we made the right decision when we had people telling us, "this is the classiest wedding I've ever been to."

We had a very positive experience locking in a rate for our guests to book rooms. Other hotels downtown would not offer a guaranteed rate or even block rooms so we were happy that the Saint Paul Hotel did since they were our first pick. The hotel staff was beyond accommodating with our group. The shuttle was booked easily to run guests to our venue, gifts were delivered to rooms of out of town guests without incident, and they even passed out information to guests upon arrival/check in that we had put together ahead of time. I was very happy with the Bridal Suite and would definitely recommend for smaller wedding parties to get ready in.
