Ian was an incredibly special part of our day. He played as guests arrived, during the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. My most favorite part of Ian, my husband is in a band, and for my aisle song, Ian took the time to learn one of my husband's songs for me to walk down the aisle to! It was incredibly special for us.

Ian was by far our biggest compliment of the day. Aside from that, he took the time to listen to us and ensure that our day is as special as possible. His music just really tied everything together. He is incredibly friendly and our guests absolutely loved him.

Anyone would be lucky to have Ian as a part of their wedding!!!!

Ian was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first email to the day of the wedding. Not only did he play dozens of songs from a (very comprehensive) list of songs that made all of us pop-punk millennials get up and dance but he also learned the theme song to our favorite show for my wife to walk down the aisle to. It's been over two years and my friends still mention how hard he rocked out for our cocktail hour! I truly cannot recommend overstate how incredible Ian is, and he's a wonderful guy to boot.

Ian went above and beyond for our wedding at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset, MA. He was extremely helpful during the planning process and had a wide range of songs to choose from for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We would definitely recommend Ian for anyone looking for live music to add to any event!

We had learned about the Punk Cellist through a family member’s friends that had him play at their wedding. From the first video we saw of him, we knew that he was going to be amazing. He has amazing cello skills and equally awesome people skills. Ian was there for us every step of the way and helped give suggestions and tailor the music for our special day to exactly what we were looking for. From playing pre ceremony and ceremony music (beautifully and even doing a special request of the Pokémon theme song for our recessional song) to rocking out at our reception, Ian was truly a master class. I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic cellist who can handle both classical and modern pieces with ease. I honestly believe that our wedding music would not have been as magical and iconic if it had not been for Ian. He truly is the best!

Ian was incredibly attentive to our vision and willing to work with us (heck he flew from Boston area to the Bay Area to perform for us!).

We asked him for a custom mashup of pachbel canon and after the party by the menzingers and he delivered flawlessly for my wife to walk down the aisle. A member of the menzingers even liked the post!

Then he proceeded to play cocktail hour- a full set and my guests still talk about it to this day. He even took a request for a Fleetwood Mac song from my boomer uncle and nailed it on the spot.

We’ve kept in touch since our wedding and he’s just a great person in general.

Would recommend to anyone who likes punk but wants to class it up and work with a great person.
