The Preserve Resort & Spa is a wedding venue located in Richmond, Rhode Island. Located on 3,500 pristine acres of New England wilderness, The Preserve boasts the perfect picturesque backdrop for your lavish indoor ceremony or stunning outdoor reception. With diverse setting options, from our Waterfall Patio or Main Lawn to our Event Barn coming Fall 2024, our venue ensures something special for every couple's vision. The Preserve Resort & Spa is easily accessible from all points along the East Coast via Interstate-95. Situated just thirty minutes from Providence, 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.45 hours from New York City, our resort is easily reachable by car, train, airplane, or helicopter.

Facilities and Capacity

The Preserve Resort & Spa offers a choice of elegant ceremony sites. Couples can choose to exchange their vows in the Waterfall Garden in an outdoor service on a manicured lawn. Afterwards, the newlyweds can wander the grounds of the club for a spectacular photoshoot. Groups can take further advantage of the property’s panoramic forest views by hosting a cocktail reception on the patio or tented dinner in the Lawn of the Main Lodge or overlooking the sweeping views at our Hilltop Barn. There are also several smaller indoor spaces available throughout the property, from our Double Barrel Steakhouse to our Hobbit Houses, we have spaces for weddings from 10 guests to 300 guests. Rental of the facilities includes furniture to match the style of each space, and there is parking available on-site. Accommodations are available and group bookings can be arranged.

The team’s in-house wedding planner helps the happy couple organize all the details of their big day from recommending vendors to creating the event’s timeline. Design support can also be provided to ensure the venue looks just right on the day of the wedding. The planning team can provide day-of coordination services, as well as set-up and cleanup of the facilities. The culinary team assists couples to plan a menu that is customized to their tastes and can serve everything from pre-wedding parties to rehearsals and receptions.
