About
I have made the difficult and sad decision to stop offering my services as a wedding officiant. In late 2020 I was diagnosed with an immune deficiency syndrome called Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID). It can and does manifest with unexpected and random symptoms that often incapacitate me for a couple of days.
Since I have no way of knowing if this might happen right before a wedding, I really can’t in good conscience commit to doing any more ceremonies. It breaks my heart because it has been my great honor and joy to officiate the weddings that I have.

Hello and congratulations on your upcoming wedding in Central Oregon! As an ordained officiant, I believe that everyone deserves to unite in marriage and to have the perfect ceremony. During our meeting, I will get to know the two of you in depth in order to incorporate personal elements into your ceremony that are unique to your love story. I am happy to perform religious, non-religious, and same-sex ceremonies. I can write your vows for you, or you can write your own, and we can easily incorporate a special unity ritual (such as lighting a unity candle, blending of sands, combining wines, etc).
