I’m an event planner by trade so I knew exactly what I wanted when I started looking for our wedding venue. I wanted somewhere that wouldn’t need a lot of decoration to be beautiful (hello row of chandeliers, exposed brick wall and magnolia mural) and that had amazing in-house catering. All I did was bring in a few flower arrangements and we were set! Ruby was amazing to work with, always so quick to reply to my emails and answer any and all of my questions. We ended up with 75 people but the space can easily fit 150+. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the space was and delicious the food was. If you’re looking for a wedding/reception in New Orleans, this is it!

From initial planning to the wedding weekend, the team was so accommodating

Everything was absolutely perfect! We had our ceremony inside Jack Rose restaurant and walked right into the Parlor for our reception. The food was incredible! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. Our photos are fantastic! The restaurant and reception hall made the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Every single person working that evening was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Ruby is absolutely amazing! She was wonderful to work with and made planning everything super easy. I highly recommend planning any event at the Parlor.

We love The Parlor! We held our wedding reception here and could not have been happier with how it turned out. This venue is a special place that has so much character and provides a fun but classy Nola vibe. The star of the show was the venue's director, Ruby - who made everything from planning to post-event an absolute breeze! She was a joy to work with, extremely experienced and professional, and guided us through all the steps of making this event happen with ease. On the day of our event, I didn't have to worry about anything as it was all in the hands of their fabulous manager Erin. Working with these two was such a highlight of our experience, made only better by the amazing food from Jack Rose (guests were raving for weeks!), beautiful backdrop (chandeliers and floral mural!), and flexibility with layout, vendors, etc. They made us feel so special and helped execute a truly flawless and epic party. Thank you Erin and Ruby, and the whole team! PS - we sourced all our vendors from Ruby's recommendations and they were also all amazing.

Hosting our wedding reception at the Parlor was the best choice we could have made. Working with Ruby was a dream - she was so kind, thorough, and responsive - from day one of reaching out through the end of the reception she made sure everything was seamless and beautiful! Ruby, Brittany, and the entire team at the Parlor and Jack Rose/Hot Tin were wonderful and truly made us and our guests feel so special. They set us up to enjoy dinner with our bridal party before entering the reception, and I'm so glad we had that time to catch our breath and enjoy the delicious food and cocktails. We are so happy with how everything turned out and keep getting compliments on having the best food. Also, the cake and dessert display were more than we could have hoped for, the pastry chef outdid herself and delivered on all our favorite desserts and the most beautiful pistachio cake for us to cut. The service, quality, and value were all outstanding.

THE BEST DECISION we have made throughout our whole wedding process is booking this venue. This place is truly outstanding! The food, the staff, and the character of this place is everything that we could have hoped for. My husband and I were hunting like crazy for the perfect venue for us and The Parlor was exactly that. I remember emailing Ruby throughout the months before our wedding day and she would respond within SECONDS. They truly want to make everything go as easy as possible for you and to make your day memorable. They were attentive to our needs and wants and we honestly felt like we were treated like royalty! THE FOOD! Our guests to this day says that the food was the best food they ever had at a wedding. WOW! The service? PHENOMENAL. Everyone had a smile on their face and they were so quick to help you. There is not a bad thing I could say about this place. My husband and I still reminisce about our day and we agree that it could not have been this good without The Parlor and it's staff. THANK YOU! I could shout to the rooftops about how incredible this venue is and I recommend it to everyone!

We had such an amazing experience with The Parlor! Ruby was so wonderful to work and plan with and Gretchen and Erin were amazing the night of. Everyone was so nice and accommodating making sure everything was perfect. Could not recommended The Parlor enough!!!

We wanted a relaxed celebration with great food and drinks, where most everything was taken care of in-house, which is exactly what we got at the Parlor.

As other reviews state, Ruby was an absolute joy to work with and very quick to answer any and all questions! Dinner, dessert, and beverages came from the Jack Rose kitchen and hotel bars, so it’s all delicious.

We were lucky that there weren’t any other events in the space that weekend, so load in and out, as well as day of event timing, never felt rushed. Ruby and team were also very accommodating and provided a few of the items that many places would have nickle and dimed you for.

The Parlor ended up being as stress free as a wedding could be.

My daughter's wedding was perfect, Ruby and Gretchen are the best! We are so happy that the bride and groom chose the Parlor and I'm still getting messages from guests that this was the best wedding they have ever attended. I highly recommend The Parlor :)

The Parlor was new to me but I am so glad we found it! It’s a lovely venue and the staff were all wonderful to work with! Being connected with The Pontchartrain Hotel and Jack Rose Restaurant and Hot Tin Rooftop Bar we’re added bonuses! All in one place! Can’t say enough good things about the venue and staff and service and the food in Jack Rose was exceptional! Our rooms in the hotel were great, also! Five stars all around!
