The Parklands of Floyds Fork is a donor-supported park system in Louisville, Kentucky offering 2 venues to couples hosting their special day. The Park offers a charming combination of beautiful outdoor areas and stunning indoor spaces. The dedicated events team pride themselves on providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Parklands of Floyds Fork caters to large and small weddings. There are both indoor /outdoor ceremony options, along with reception options, at both locations.

Beckley Creek Park offers The Gheens Foundation Lodge. The lodge can accommodate 25 to 300 guests including terrace, event/ceremony lawn, UPS Great Room and Parklands Room. With floor to ceiling windows you can always bring the outside in, no matter the weather.

Turkey Run Park offers the Hockensmith Barn, which provides a large rustic indoor area that can seat up to 225 guests. It features exposed support and overhead wooden beams, while having a simple elegant charm. A private event/ceremony lawn is also included. The Barn is a seasonal rental and not temperature controlled.

The team aims to provide a blank canvas where you can indulge your creative spirit. Amazing Venue!

My husband and I got married here in June at Gheen’s Foundation Lodge. Our venue was absolutely beautiful with floor to ceiling windows and incredible natural views. For the price you will pay here, you won’t find anywhere with more natural beauty or space anywhere near the Louisville area! Not to mention, the staff at Gheens was AMAZING and was there to help us every step of the way! Not only did they help us figure out the setup for our big day, they also connected us with vendors, helped us with setup on the day of, and were on hand until the end of the wedding to help out! A big shout out to Toni Woodard, who was so sweet and so great at communicating with us and answering any and all questions we had. Overall, this is just an incredible venue and I have absolutely zero complaints. Would definitely recommend to any bride out there!

Best venue I've ever been to!

My wedding was May 25th and this venue was amazing. Shout out to Toni & Alyssa for answering all of my questions, making the perfect suggestions, and allowing my crazy family to take over for the day. You all were truly amazing! Everyone was able to find the place, and even though the splash pad was open they had someone closed off the parking lot and allowed ample amounts of spots for all of my guests. There is so much space in the venue I don't believe anyone every felt crowded, and all of my vendors were able to pile in, set up, and get the job done without having to step over anyone else. If you are wanting a venue that allows you the freedom of ceremony & reception in the same area, and a great back up plan for rainy days, I highly suggest this place right here!

Beautiful venue!

We used the Gheens Foundation Lodge for our reception and it was amazing. Beth was great to work with and the setting is beautiful. It has a beautiful view of the creek and the park, and is set up conveniently so that there is plenty of room.

Wonderful venue. They won't give you a rehearsal day/time until 6 weeks before your event. This makes planning a dinner/arrangements for out of town wedding party difficult.
