Facilities and Services

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery hosts wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners and post wedding brunches. The facilities at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery resemble classic German beer halls and gardens. Large gatherings can take place in the Grosse (large) Festhalle, a 1,300 square-foot room that would be perfect for receptions. The Kleine (small) Festhalle is suitable for smaller events. The venue is also home to a Biergarten and private covered patio, ideal for soon-to-be newlyweds who desire an outdoor celebration. These spaces are fitted with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment. Guided by your wishes, the brewery's team will work diligently to make sure that your reception or rehearsal dinner runs smoothly. Last minute wedding

Stephanie and Alex were amazing!! They worked with me to customize my time and ceremony setup. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and so laid back. My family and new husband loved everything about it.

Flexible, GREAT value!

OMB was our first choice for wedding venue and we were SO fortunate to be able to reserve them. They were very flexible, attentive to our needs, and made a package that was tailored for us. Charlotte was available, easy to communicate with, and genuinely seemed eager and happy to work with us. Planning was really stress-free. The food was AMAZING! We got so many compliments on that, the beer, and the cider! OMB provided so many of the essentials - tables, chairs, table cloths, etc, even candle votives. This saved us so much in rental costs that we were able to afford an open bar and other amenities that otherwise would have been out of our budget.

Our guests had nice, clean facilities available, the room was private to us but still accessible for our guests to hang out in the biergarten before the ceremony. Plus the landscaping and grounds are well taken care of - we took our pre-ceremony photos on site.

PLENTY of free parking the day of, plus close to hotels and the airport for our out of town guests and near the light rail so they could conveniently get Uptown. We found our florist through OMB's recommended vendors too!

We could not have asked for a more perfect place.

Beautiful setting, professional staff

We chose this venue for a couple of reasons, not the least of which was the enchantingly rustic setting (I can’t wait to see how our professional photos turned out!)...the staff was professional and very helpful; we really couldn’t have asked for s lovelier experience!

Perfect for rehearsal dinner and welcome party!

We loved the vibe, food, set up and ease we had in booking and working with OMB to make the Friday festivities for our wedding weekend a success! Would definitely recommend this space!

A great venue!!

We had our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding earlier this month and Olde Meck did a great job with everything! The food was great and they were so easy to work with in getting everything arranged well before the date! I would highly recommend them for any group event!!

We booked The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery for our rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party and the event could not have been more perfect! Their staff was so helpful to us during the entire planning process. They helped make menu recommendations and were endlessly patient with us. We had about 30 guests for the rehearsal dinner and 100 guests for the welcome party and their staff made the entire event run flawlessly. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, and we got so many compliments on our venue choice. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone else looking for a place to hold a special event. Thank you so much OMB!

I recently had our rehearsal dinner at OMB. This was the perfect place for it. Especially when most were out of town guests for our wedding. This is a central location for everyone staying uptown with a short drive or uber to the venue.

I chose this spot because of the decor and atmosphere. I wanted something fun, classy, and plenty of space for my guests. Everyone said how much they liked the venue and the food. Charlotte and Billeigh did a wonderful job from our first initial contact to the event. Questions were answered very timely and extremely supportive of our needs for the event.

The setup was great with the festhalle we reserved. The displays were professional and the food was delicious. Our own bartenders with various different types of drinks from sodas, water, wine, and beer.

The atmosphere allowed us to have a secluded area for our rehearsal dinner along with our outdoor private patio. All out of town guests were invited and many enjoyed the outdoor beer garden and live music as well.

The pricing is extremely reasonable for the venue and food. You will not be disappointed. I highly suggest in looking at OMB for any event.

We had our son and fiance's rehearsal dinner there this past weekend- and it couldn't have been more magical!! The setting was beautiful, the staff was very attentive, friendly and so accomodating and the food and beer/wine was delicious and plentiful!! The coordinators for OMB, both Charlotte and Billiegh were very helpful, very available and such a delight to work with! It couldn't have been better- and because they took care of everything, my husband and I were able to enjoy it and visit and meet new friends and family!!
Their friends certainly enjoyed themselves and had a great time eating and drinking and getting reacquainted!
It was perfect- magical and wonderful!! I can't say enough, it was just absolutely so much fun and such a great experience!

Having my ceremony and reception at OMB was THE BEST! From the initial contact with Charlotte to reserve the venue to meeting with Kelly to plan our menu and details I always felt like their #1 priority. We used OMB's catering and got a ton of compliments from our guests. The bartenders and day-of staff were always attentive and quick to act. We couldn't have hoped for a better venue for our special day!
