We hired The Mixx, or The Reagan Years as we know them, for our June 2018 wedding in Leesburg. We have always known about The Reagan Years because we have been to many of their ticketed shows at the Tally Ho Theater in downtown Leesburg and always had a blast. Sy, the band manager/drummer, was accommodating and worked with us on a prepared set list for them to play that had songs that we liked. They were always professional and Sy even came to our venue walk through a month before our wedding to make sure everything went according to plan on our big day. They also did all of our bridal party introductions at the start of the reception and created an appropriate playlist to play over the speakers during dinner. A great thing about them was my husband wanted to dance to a specific song with his mom, and they learned how to play the song for them! It was really great because my husband and mother-in-law invited everyone to the dance floor in the later part of their song and the band went right in to their set afterwards with a packed dance floor.

The Mixx absolutely killed it during our wedding. Sadly, our speeches ran long and they had to cut the first set down a bit, but they made sure to play all the classic 80's songs that everyone could sing and dance along to. Our dance floor was packed all night and so many people commented on how awesome our band was!!! They play all the classic 80's songs and will play other current day music as well! You will absolutely have a packed dance floor with this band at your wedding and I would recommend them to anyone!!

This band provides high energy and intensity from the moment they open until their last song of the evening. All the attendees to this event were in awe of the caliber of their performance.

We had the band perform at our elementary school auction and they were incredible. They were engaging with the parents, very professional to deal with and just super nice! It has been almost 2 months since our event and our parents are still talking about them and can’t wait till next year.

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Our guests all raved about what a great time they all had! All with the same compliments regarding the band, THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I would highly recommend The MIXX. You won't be disappointed! They were professional, on time easy to work with prior to the reception and the day of as well. The music kept the guests out of their seats and the dance floor full. I still get compliments about The MIXX almost a year later.

We hired The Mixx for our daughters wedding May 2017. We have been loyal followers of The Reagan Years, and found out they could rock more than just 80's music. They played everything from Elvis to Walk the Moon. If you close your eyes and listen.....it's hard to believe they are a cover band. They are THAT good! And dancing? Most all of us got our 10,000 steps in that night alone :) The venue, food and the Bride and Groom were incredible. Having them play just took the party over the top.

Amazing! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing our wedding reception was because of these guys! Kick butt music, energy levels, everything was Unbelievable and I couldn’t have asked for better entertainment for the best night of my life. They play an array of music, from Earth Wind and Fire, to Bruno mars. 80s, pop, rock.... Sy is a pleasure to work with as he made sure all of my needs were met and pulled off an incredible reception. Forget everything else. The music MADE the reception. If you’re looking foR a fun and interactive band, you will not be disappointed! These guys really killed it. To this day, our guests still rave about them!
