Perfect wedding!
I can't say enough good things about the Milling Room. The space is beautiful, especially in the daytime. Clara, the event planner was awesome! She was so on top of every detail and seemed to anticipate our every need. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and plentiful. We are so happy we had our wedding here.

NYC's hidden gem of wedding venue
The punch line of this review is that The Milling Room is the most perfect wedding venue. I debated not writing this review because I want to keep how amazing it is a secret. We were looking for a venue that was big enough for 90-100 people but still small and intimate, a place that could fit a dance floor but didn't feel huge, rustic but chic, and The Milling Room fits all of this. Hannah is badass- she was on top of everything the night of the wedding, through COVID, and throughout the 1.5 years leading up to our wedding day. The space barely needs any decor because it's already decorated so perfectly as is. It's a restaurant so from the cocktails to dessert, the food is slamming, the bar is gorgeous, and we added some candles and "moody fall" flowers as the chef's kiss for our wedding. And on top of all of this, it's affordable. We feel so lucky to have gotten married here.

Perfect Wedding Venue!
We did a full restaurant buyout for our wedding at The Milling Room October 2021 and it was everything we could've asked for and more! All of our guests raved about the drinks and food and the room is absolutely stunning. We had just under 100 guests and ample room for a dance floor. Hannah was a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding day and the day-of along with the other staff. It went so smoothly, our guests were impressed and we are so grateful to The Milling Room for hosting a night we'll never forget. Thank you!

Excellent restaurant for a NYC wedding!
We had our wedding at the Milling Room on 11/20/2021 and everything went beautifully. The food and drinks were great, the dining room looked wonderful with the sun coming through the skylight (made for great photos), the staff was excellent. Hannah was great to work with in planning the event. If you are considering getting married at a restaurant in NYC, I highly recommend the Milling Room!

It turned out even better than we envisioned!
The Milling Room was only the second wedding venue that my husband and I visited and as soon as we stepped inside we knew it would be the perfect place. We were looking for an intimate, but still spacious and comfortable space for our winter wedding, that could accommodate around 70-100 people. We also loved the high ceilings and all of the natural light since we were planning a daytime ceremony and reception, both of which took place at TMR. The turnover was really seamless! Working with Hannah, the venue coordinator, was a really enjoyable experience. I felt that she was very responsive, organized and honest about everything, as well as being flexible and open to our requests. She recommended a few vendors and we ended up using a lot of them, including the florist. When it came to the wedding day, the staff at TMR were really wonderful and we felt that the service was really special. Probably the best part was the food, which some of our guests said was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! It really was just like having a meal at an amazing restaurant with 70 of your closest friends and family, which was what we were going for. Truly the room is so stunning, but the service and food made the day even better than we imagined. I also felt that the price was very reasonable/ fair and they were open to accommodate our budget as much as possible. If you’re looking for an intimate NYC restaurant wedding, I can not recommend TMR enough!

A dream come true!
We held our wedding (ceremony & reception) at The Milling Room in May 2019, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The Hannah and the entire team were amazing -accommodating, attentive and professional. The food and drinks were incredible. We're still getting compliment. A great value and beautiful venue for an NYC wedding that won't break the bank!

Highly, highly recommend. The Milling Room is a gem.
The Milling Room is an excellent choice all across the board. From the friendly and professional staff to the amazing food, they have it all. We worked with Hannah, the events manager at The Milling Room, and we couldn't have asked for anything more from a point person to help us plan our special day. We had a wonderful wedding - simple and yet very rich. I initially thought a proper NYC wedding was out of reach for us, but then I discovered The Milling Room and we ended up with a wedding that was just so perfect for us! Thanks so much, Hannah and team!
Cost-wise, we ended up spending what we expected and there were no extra charges like room rent (unheard of for the city).
Other than for our wedding, we've visited The Milling Room a few times in the past few months for dinners and we've always been wowed by the food. My favorite is the porkchop and the celery root soup. I'm not sure who the chef is - but he/she deserves praise and recognition!
