The Maywood String quartet were professionals in every part of the process, their performance quality was excellent, and their rates were very reasonable. Highly recommended if you are looking for a fun and classy musical addition for your wedding day!

Matt promptly responded to my inquiry and provided transparent details on pricing and terms. It was easy to confirm a time and date and secure the booking. He continued to be prompt and thorough in communications leading up to the day of the event. He didn't need much from us other than venue details, song selection, and a timeline for the day which was great as we had so many other details to think about and vendors to coordinate.

The group has a well-curated repertoire of classical standards and pops songs and we had no problem finding selections we were excited about. Their price list and contract did offer an option to have them learn new songs but we didn't feel the need to ask them to learn anything new.

Day-of they arrived on time and were set up and ready to play very quickly. They were professional in appearance and conduct and very self-sufficient. The quality of their performance was excellent. They provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance. They nailed it on all the important moments in the ceremony and first dance and provided lovely background music that created an amazing ambience for the cocktail hour. It was exactly what we were imagining and our guests really enjoyed it.

Not only did they sound beautiful, but they got there on time, were self sufficient and super easy to work with before our wedding. Due to unforeseen delays, they stayed longer than originally asked and were so nice about it. We appreciated them going above and beyond to accommodate us. 10/10 recommend!!!

The Maywood String Quartet was fantastic as our ceremony musicians. They have a great repertoire to choose from and we didn't ask them to learn any particular songs for us, but it was great to know that was an option. As the bride, I honestly barely heard anything these lovely people played. I was either locked away in a little room or had tunnel vision for my husband. It's all so overwhelming when it's happening you feel like your blacking out! However! Almost every guest I had complimented the string quartet that played. They took my requests and really elevated our ceremony. They also hustled over from the ceremony to play at the cocktail hour, which was awesome. Really appreciate this group!!
