The Imitations are awesome! Very professional and and absolutely enthusiastic performance from start-to-finish!
Every bride has her "specifics" about her reception music, from first dances to songs she'd die if were played...and this band just absolutely catered to every whim and wish and tweak and request we could have possibly come up with! We even forgot our "first dance songs" CD at our hotel, and the band whipped up a GREAT introduction song for the entrance of the bridal party into the reception on about a 2min notice and no one ever knew the difference!
The members of this band helped coordinate things like the cake-cutting, the garter toss, and they made sure to get almost all of our guests at one time or another out on the dance floor -- even though it meant playing "the electric slide" (against our wishes, but hey...it DID get everyone out there dancing and having a blast!), and they even had several people up there singing with them, including my new husband and I!
We truly truly had a wonderful time...they dress so nicely and appropriately for the occasion as well, and are understated in their appearance and demeanor for as amazing as they are! We even got a free CD of theirs and some t-shirts at the end of the night!
They were awesome, and they play all over Wilmington for various (public and private) events and if you get the chance, go see them and surely hire them!
