The historic home was built circa 1812 by Major Benjamin Helm, the son of one of the three founding families of Elizabethtown and a prominent and influential businessman, politician, and banker. He and his wife, Mary Edwards Helm, were known to be lavish entertainers, and it is fitting that the home is once again hostess to joyous celebrations.

Out on the front porch, lawn or in the back gardens, you and your partner can say "I Do". This tranquil ceremony site is framed by leafy trees and the striking red brick of the home, creating a comfortable and sheltered spot for your vow exchange. After the ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy cocktail hour on one of the many terraces or in the bar parlor before dinner is served in the new event room, The Garden Room.
