Offering an immersive experience for each couple and their guests, Deer Creek Valley Ranch will amaze with scenes ranging from modern elegance to boho chic to rustic mountain flair.
Inspired by their own amazing Love Story, owners Tim and Christian have turned their 165-acre Ranch into a boutique venue for weddings and corporate events. This venue is run by a family, not a corporation, a difference that guests can feel. A dedicated coordinator is there to help every couple feel stress-free, and enjoy the sweet journey from "I will" to "I do".
Facilities and Capacity
Originally built in 1865 and carefully restored from its historical roots, this venue now boasts an array of event spaces, with their own unique aesthetic. Up to 180 guests can enjoy the elegant indoor spaces and picturesque outdoor areas with mountain views during your special day. One of the ceremony sites, Pine Cathedral, features hand-crafted pine benches leading to a breathtaking vision of the valley. Large pines and boulders are present and act as a one-of-a-kind backdrop for the nuptuals. The Gazebo sits beside a heart-shaped lake, while the Covered Bridge site is nestled in a meadow by Deer Creek, to ensure a tranquil setting for ceremonies. Guests can then enjoy their cocktail hour at one of two versatile outdoor patios, each with a huge custom stone fireplace, bistro lighting, lush panoramic views, appetizers, bar, and lots of lawn games. Enjoy reception at the elegant Homestead Chandelier Room, and dance the night away, underneath the romantic drapery and delicate chandeliers decorating the ceiling. For a more rustic, down-to-earth reception, party at the historic Barn, which features the Ultimate Man Cave with pool, poker, foos-ball, darts, etc. and a blend of both contemporary decor and antique charm.
Planning the party is easy with their Vendor “Dream Team” in the All-Inclusive packages. In addition, couples and their loved ones can stay overnight in the Homestead House, with enough room to accommodate 20 people for an unforgettable after-party.

The All-Inclusive package includes 11-hours of exclusive access, dedicated planner, full-service catering with nine unique menus to choose from, customized florals and decor, full hosted bar w/bartending staff, DJ/MC, photo booth, and much more. No matter what wedding vision is hoped for, the team at Deer Creek Valley Ranch will work to make that vision a reality.

Perfect weather, perfect venue... felt like a dream! We wanted Coloradesque vibes for our wedding since we, along with all of our 65 guests, are from out of state. DCVR has it. Mountain range in our backdrop with stretches of land and forest - such an authentic rustic atmosphere. Our guests could not stop talking about how magical this place felt and were delighted with deer sightings on the ranch!
The Homestead is so intimate and elegant - Pine Cathedral and the Hearth Patio gave us the outdoor sophistication we envisioned, while the Ballroom had the perfect space for dinner and dancing. We especially loved the string lights and ceiling drapes.
We worked with a few of the DCVR team, all were so accommodating and wanted to make our day special to us. My husband and I didn't know much about organizing a wedding, but Christian supported us with suggestions and words of wisdom that kept us grounded. Amber was prepared us with wedding day details at our rehearsal and continued to check in while we were getting ready at the ranch house. Cece helped answer our questions as we coordinated with vendors. We truly appreciated the ease of communication and heartfelt service provided to us by the DCVR team. We chose DCVR sight unseen, for a destination wedding and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. During the year leading up to the wedding, DCVR was always willing to answer a million and one questions that we had and helped guide us with their many pre-created documents! Every question we had, they had already anticipated!!!! Not to mention, always with a smile and willing attitude :-) Their venue is gorgeous and you cannot take in the many unique details onsite until you put your eyes on it. Tim met me while on vacation in Hawaii. We got engaged 14 days later, and married 6 weeks after that!
It is this enduring love story that inspired us to turn the Ranch into a wedding venue almost 10 years ago. We are in love with being in love, and view it an honor to work with such great couples and to be a part of the "biggest day of their lives".
When the opportunity came to join Deer Creek Valley Ranch, and be a part of couple’s dream weddings, I jumped at the chance. I love attending the ceremonies and feel blessed to be part of each new marriage. And, yes, I cry like a baby every time the bride walks down that aisle. I actually proposed to my husband, and was thrilled when he accepted (I was very forward considering it was the 80s)! I would love to say that I had my dream wedding, but it quickly turned into my mother’s dream wedding and in the end, to save our sanity as a couple, we eloped. While the wedding wasn’t perfect, the marriage has been wonderful – James is still my best friend, my knight in shining armor, the father of our three children, and the love of my life! I didn’t get my perfect wedding 30 years ago, but being a part of your special day is a perfect compromise! I cannot wait to work with you, and help make your wedding the most amazing day ever!
