Rustic & Elegant Colorado Destination Wedding

Perfect weather, perfect venue... felt like a dream! We wanted Coloradesque vibes for our wedding since we, along with all of our 65 guests, are from out of state. DCVR has it. Mountain range in our backdrop with stretches of land and forest - such an authentic rustic atmosphere. Our guests could not stop talking about how magical this place felt and were delighted with deer sightings on the ranch!

The Homestead is so intimate and elegant - Pine Cathedral and the Hearth Patio gave us the outdoor sophistication we envisioned, while the Ballroom had the perfect space for dinner and dancing. We especially loved the string lights and ceiling drapes.

We worked with a few of the DCVR team, all were so accommodating and wanted to make our day special to us. My husband and I didn't know much about organizing a wedding, but Christian supported us with suggestions and words of wisdom that kept us grounded. Amber was prepared us with wedding day details at our rehearsal and continued to check in while we were getting ready at the ranch house. Cece helped answer our questions as we coordinated with vendors. We truly appreciated the ease of communication and heartfelt service provided to us by the DCVR team. Highly recommend this venue!

Look No Further

We had the perfect day here. The setting is beautiful - we used the meadow for our ceremony, gazebo for the cocktail hour, and barn for the reception. the weather was perfect, the guests loved seeing so much of the property, and the staff/owners couldn't be more gracious, helpful, and kind. This venue is pure magic and I am so happy we picked it. Look no further.

Amazing Wedding Day!

We could not have been happier with out wedding at The Barn. The staff were amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed, and were very helpful when rain came in. We're extremely happy this is where we decided to get married!

Gorgeous Venue!

My husband and I had our wedding at this venue on June 5th, 2021, and utilized the Barn for our ceremony and reception site. Due to COVID and restrictions on travel, I never actually got to see the venue in person until the day of the wedding but let me tell you what; this venue was GORGEOUS and so much more perfect than I had ever imagined. The cost was more than reasonable for such an amazing location. You can tell the owners have put an insane amount of pride and love into the barn and their property. We worked with CeCe during the planning process but on the day of the wedding, Christian was there to make sure everything was good to go with the venue, she even gave us a historical walk through which led to a whole other level of impressiveness. Our special day was perfect and honestly, we couldn't have asked for anything more!

So grateful to have chosen DCVR for my wedding!

By the time I went to visit Deer Creek Valley Ranch, I already knew it was the venue for me, and didn’t even bother to visit any others. We wanted something comfortable, beautiful, and outdoorsy, that would introduce our many travelling guests to the best Colorado has to offer and also provide an easy flow of events throughout our day. I also wanted a venue that would make sure we were the only couple getting married there that day and give us at least 10 hours on-site. Lastly, we needed a dog-friendly spot that would allow us to have our pup in our ceremony. Our main focus in planning our event was ease, accessibility, and FUN—we didn’t want to waste any time on needless formality, we just wanted a gorgeous place to have the best celebration ever. And we got all that and more, thanks to the facilities at DCVR and the team there (especially Cece) completely understanding and honoring what we wanted. Our day was so perfect I can’t even believe it. It was pouring rain just an hour before our ceremony at the Gazebo, and I had pretty much accepted getting married in the drizzle that was left by the time it rolled around, and yet… the sky cleared literally right before I walked down the aisle. Butterflies were flying around during our ceremony, the horses were out… it was just absolutely magical. I will treasure my memories of our day at DCVR forever.

Wonderful Experience, Simple Process

Cove at DCVR is great!
She talks you through the options, answers questions (yes, even if they are “dumb” questions) very clearly and we never had to wait more than a day or two for a response.

The value at Deer Creek Valley Ranch is by FAR the best price we were able to find for an outdoor mountain wedding, and the fact that we have the Barn for 10 hours just adds to that value.

DCVR (Destination wedding)

We chose DCVR sight unseen, for a destination wedding and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. During the year leading up to the wedding, DCVR was always willing to answer a million and one questions that we had and helped guide us with their many pre-created documents! Every question we had, they had already anticipated!!!! Not to mention, always with a smile and willing attitude :-) Their venue is gorgeous and you cannot take in the many unique details onsite until you put your eyes on it. The choices they give you are phenomenal and you can truly customize it to be what you dreamed it to be

Having our wedding at Deer Creek Valley Ranch was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We did a destination wedding from CA so all of our guests had to travel to get there; this venue really captures the Colorado beauty that we were looking for. All of the staff that works there are amazing. They were very prompt in returning my emails and texts which made planning a wedding from states away super easy. The gave recommendations for vendors and were overall extremely helpful. Our day went perfectly and a lot of that is thanks to the venue managers Cece and Emma. Thank you guys, we had an amazing time at your venue!

DCVR was such an incredible find for us! It is the quintessential Colorado wedding venue. I can’t count how many of our guests told us after our wedding that it was the most beautiful venue they’d ever been to. Cece and the staff were wonderful to work with and very attentive to our needs. DCVR truly made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is the most beautiful venue in the state. They have two wedding ceremony sites to choose from, both of which offer spectacular views of the mountains. The barn where the reception is held is a dream, the best and most beautiful reception area we looked at. The fireside patio right outside was also perfect for our cocktail hour, surrounded by amazing views. The staff that works to keep everything turning was perfect. Cece was absolutely perfect. She was so helpful leading up to the wedding. She answered all our questions in a timely manner, and made sure we went into our wedding day with everything covered. On our wedding day, she took care of everything. Our friends and family complimented us on how the staff was so nice and well mannered, and how they took care of absolutely everything. Choosing the venue was for us the most important selection of the wedding. We could not have been any happier with our selection. Thank you for such a beautiful wedding.

DCVR is the most special venue in the world! My husband and I are thrilled we were married there. First of all, Lindsey treated us absolutely amazing! She made the whole event planning process so unique, intimate and special to us as a couple. Second, the location is STUNNING with so many beautiful scenic backdrops. And third, all of our guest told us it was the most fun wedding. From the awesome man cave, to the saddle bar seats & swinging barn doors, the barn is a place to kick back and have a blast! We planned our wedding at DCVR and it was absolutely amazing. We were an out of state couple working with Lindsey and she was awesome. Lindsey kept in touch with us frequently and was always so fast with a response time. Any and every questions, Lindsey had an answer for. Book DCVR as they are an amazing venue inside and out and have the most wonderful people running it. You won't regret getting married outside in the meadow, it is beyond gorgeous. Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop saying how beautiful it was!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch was everything we wanted for our wedding and more! The venue is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Lindsey helped us through the entire process from booking the venue to walkthroughs to the day of our wedding. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and we honestly could not be happier! We were even visited by some of the resident horses during our sunset pictures which added a special touch to the evening! Their pricing is very reasonable and all of their vendors were awesome to work with. We've had multiple people tell us that our wedding was the most magical wedding they have attended due to the venue. My husband and I would without a doubt recommend DCVR!

My husband and I got married at the ranch in April of 2016 and luckily the weather held out for us! The views from the ranch, both ceremony cites and the barn are all breathtakingly gorgeous! Christian and her husband (the owners) are super sweet people and made sure our day was perfect! The event director was overall helpful and well organized but doesn't take kindly to people being early to meetings or on event day. Overall experience was flawless and I would recommend the venue to anyone!

My husband and I tied the knot in September and I was so happy with our decision to go with DCVR. We chose this spot as I grew up in Bailey and my mom passed away a few years ago. The venue face Rosalie, the mountain where we sprinkled her ashes. The staff was kind, responsive and willing to answer all and any of my questions. At first I was put off that we needed a day of coordinator but I am so glad that we had one as the day was stressful enough without worrying about table setting. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a gorgeous setting, warm staff and an unforgettable day.

So my husband and I had found this venue by searching online because our original venue shut down a month before the wedding and they had a couple cancel on our date so we were EXTREMELY lucky we got in this place. First of all the view is AMAZING. The views are breathtaking and great for pictures. And you walk in the barn and it's just perfect! We stumbled upon this and we were so lucky to have our wedding there . Lindsey the event specialist is so helpful and sweet and Christian the owner came and gave us the grand tour. I mean they are just great humble people and they have the best venue! Thank you so much for everything it was AMAZING!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch was the perfect venue for our rustic spring wedding. We were hoping for the Colorado sun for an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately fell victim to a late spring snow storm. My husband and I decided that we wanted to go ahead with an outdoor ceremony, despite the snow, and it turned out to be magical. Lindsey was fantastic with keeping us posted with weather reports and road conditions. She even shoveled a path to the gazebo for the rehearsal and made sure that the gazebo site and walkway leading up to it were completely cleared of snow before guests arrived. I would absolutely recommend DCVR to couples looking for a mountain wedding, without straying too far outside the city. We could not have been happier with the location and friendliness of the DCVR staff for our big day. Another perk is having the availability to go to the other ceremony site for photo-ops (which we took full advantage of!).

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is an absolutely GORGEOUS venue. The views and the attention to detail in this place will blow your mind! If you are looking for an rustic, western motif, this is a beautiful spot. We looked at a lot of venues and DCVR definitely surpassed all the rest in value for your dollars. Venues that were equally nice, were charging significantly more. While there are some restrictions and requirements in the contract, they were willing to discuss some of them with us and were willing to work with us on some of the items that did not work for our wedding plans. We also found that our guest list was right at their max capacity and I would suggest staying under of around 150, it would have been very tight had we invited many more then that. The only little thing that didn't turn out as we had hoped, was that during the sunset hours, it was very hot in the main floor of the reception space from the sun beaming in the front doors. They had the AC kicking but, it just couldn't combat the heat generated from the sunset and 150 people. If you go with this venue, ,maybe do a little later reception if at all possible to try to beat the heat. However, even with the heat, at the end of the day, DCVR was wonderful and went out of their way to make sure that we had all of our questions answered and that we were well coordinated with all of our vendors. They provided us a place to have our dream wedding and they made 100% sure that it all happened just the way we wanted!

We fell in love with Deer Creek Valley Ranch the minute we got out of the car. The setting is absolutely stunning and Mt. Evans was the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. We got the mountain wedding experience and beauty without the price tag of the ski resort venues. Our guests raved about the setting for weeks!

In addition to the gorgeous mountain location, the owners did an AMAZING job of refurbishing the barn. It's rustic while still being very classic and tasteful. The new "man cave" in the basement is so fun and beautiful. The groomsmen had a great time hanging out there before the ceremony and our guests who didn't want to dance loved playing pool and shuffleboard.

Finally, the owners are really genuine and lovely people. They care about each couple and want everyone to have the wedding of their dreams. On top of that, they hired a fabulous venue coordinator, Brandy, who really understands weddings and all the pieces that need to fall in to place to execute a successful event. Both Brandy and the owners, Christian and Tim, helped make our wedding day perfect.

I don't even know where to begin! My husband and I went to Deer Creek and instantly fell in love with it. After being there 10 minutes and meeting Christian (owner) we both just looked at each other and agreed that this was the place we were going to get married! Christian is warm, organized, and willing to lend a hand or an idea!
We got married out in the field surrounded by mountains. We had our guest and wedding party brought out in carriages and were blessed enough to have beautiful weather. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue with charm and character... you need to go visit Deer Creek.

My only regret is that we live in Chicago and will not be able to go back in and see the site where we married!

What an amazing wedding venue! The scenery is spectacular, the barn was warm and inviting for the reception and the gazebo was perfect for an outdoor wedding. When my daughter first suggested this place, I was highly skeptical because it is a little pricey, but we ALL fell in love with it. Christian and Tim Marasciullo were wonderful and help make my daughter's day -perfect! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom looking for a rustic outdoor wedding. I wish I could show you a picture of how beautiful it is there.

I was beginning to get very worried when I was looking for a vendor. I knew that my future husband and I wanted our wedding in the mountains, and we wanted a fall wedding, and apparently a LOT of other people wanted the same thing, because I was not able to find a venue that was available!! I saw an ad online for Deer Creek Valley Ranch, and decided to contact them for a visit.

Right from the beginning, the owners and on-site staff were quick to respond to my emails, and answer the numerous questions I had. During my initial visit and tour of the facility, I simply fell in love with it! I love how there were two main ceremony sites, and the barn has a backup area for the ceremony, in case Colorado weather didn't cooperate. Just the options in the ceremony sites alone gave me a little peace of mind. The barn is perfect for receptions, so it saved my guests from having to drive from a ceremony site to the reception area. Everything is right there! Even though the aspens didn't want to cooperate and change colors, and we had some rain during the reception, I could not have asked for a more perfect day! Everyone at Deer Creek Valley Ranch are very helpful, courteous and amazing, and I know that I have come away from my experience there with new friends!

I was privileged to have my wedding at Deer Creek Valley Ranch. The first time I saw the ranch, I fell in love (and cried!). The ranch is simply beautiful! I tried to give them the deposit right then and there but she told me to go home and think about it overnight. I called back the next day, it was the ONLY place I wanted to get married!

Throughout the whole wedding process, Christian and Sarah were so helpful and sweet. Questions would come up and they would promptly respond, they never made me feel like I was bothering them or a burden. They were as excited about the wedding as we were!

Our wedding was as beautiful as it was perfect. I was told by a friend of mine it was "the BEST Colorado wedding he had been to". I can not thank Christan enough, she made my wedding dreams come true!

If you are looking for a Colorado mountain wedding, call Christian. You will fall in love with her and Deer Creek Valley Ranch!

PS. You can supply your own alcohol at Deer Creek, saving us thousands of dollars! We had a liquor store deliver our order up to the ranch and we had bartenders through our cater. It was wonderful because the prices of alcohol at other mountain venues was insane!

My wife and I could not have selected a better venue for our wedding. Before I talk more about DCVR, it must be noted that this review is LONG overdue. Our wedding was last October, the 4th to be exact. The change in season made the venue more visually spectacular than we could have imagined---if you're from Colorado, you know exactly what we mean!!

We were very excited with the different options available to us to give ourselves the wedding of our dreams: indoors or outside for the ceremony? If outside, travel the beautiful unpaved road past the covered bridge and crazy awesome old tree to a wonderful secluded setting where all around you is nothing but beautiful Colorado nature---including a breathtaking look at Mt. Evans! Still outside, you can select an amazing wedding setting upon a gorgeous deck attached to a vintage gazebo that overlooks a naturally filled pond!! Oh, and the pond has it's own island! Still outside is empty area to imagine your own setting and let your imagination run wild (like to horses that roam the grounds)!

Inside also has great potential for a most amazing wedding. The rustic mountain barn is what you would expect from a small town in Colorado! The inside is actually more amazing than the outside---the attention to detail is quite remarkable. Once you get to meet Christian and Tim, you will be educated on the history of the location and barn, and I bet you will be quite amazed.

When we first went to DCVR we were amazed at how beautiful this place is. What really made us choose DCVR as our wedding venue is how lovely all their staff are! We absolutely love Sarah! All our guests enjoyed themselves so much and kept telling us over and over again how cool the venue was. I highly recommend DCVR to anyone looking for a uniquely Colorado wedding venue. We can’t say enough about how great our experience was working with Deer Creek Valley Ranch. We fell in love with it the minute we saw this venue. The ranch is beautiful. This venue is a beautiful haven in the mountains, surrounded by mountains, aspens, and blue skies. The barn is rustic yet elegant, and extra decorations are not needed since there are fun and ornate western decorations throughout the barn. Christian is a wonderful woman to work with and genuinely desires to make your day as special as it can be. She is organized, attentive to detail, flexible and easily reachable. Christian has made relationships with numerous vendors who also enjoy working with her. I would highly recommend Deer Creek Valley Ranch to anyone who desires to have the most memorable day of their life in a gorgeous mountain setting!

My husband and I had such an amazing and laid back experience with this venue. The owner Christian made us feel so welcome just like we were family. She gave us so much flexibility with what we wanted and also helped provide ideas for vendors and decorations etc. I couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out and how we were treated. We highly recommend Deer Creek Valley Ranch! Their location is close to the Denver metro area and easily accessable year-round. The owners were extremely accommodating in every way. They gave us a tour of the property, thoroughly answered our questions in a timely fashion, and were very professional. We organized a small, mountain wedding with access to the entire property, weather permitting. When our wedding day arrived, the weather was perfect to get married outside by the gazebo! It was a glorious day! Yet, what we will remember most is the personal connection that the owners of Deer Creek Valley Ranch made with us. They have such big, caring hearts and they love helping others. We were honored to have them join our family and watch us get married! My husband and I LOVED our experience at Deer Creek Valley Ranch. Working with Christian was a joy! We appreciate their flexibility and dedication to making sure that our day was one to remember. We wanted our wedding to have "rustic Colorado" feel, and DCVR was the perfect fit for us. We were married at the covered bridge, with our family and friends seated on hay bales looking up toward Mt. Evans, and the gorgeous, restored barn was the perfect place to celebrate with our guests and kick up our cowboy boots for a night of dancing and laughter. If we were to do it all again we would absolutely choose to have it at Deer Creek Valley Ranch!

I was so excited to find Deer Creek Valley Ranch when I was searching for a wedding venue last year. It provided the perfect setting for the Colorado mountain wedding I wanted, and because it is brand new, no one I knew had already been married there! The entire ranch is beautiful-- from the covered bridge site to the gazebo to the reception barn.

Christian, the owner, is wonderful to work with! She is fun and creative, but most of all she was so accommodating and willing to work with us to make our wedding day awesome. We planned for an outdoor ceremony, but as our wedding date approached, it appeared that the weather was not going to cooperate. Christian gave us different options for our ceremony which completely relieved us of that stress. Fortunately, the weather held out just long enough to give us the ceremony we imagined.

I would highly recommend Deer Creek Valley Ranch to anyone who wants a beautiful wedding that highlights all that the Colorado mountains have to offer. You will not be disappointed!

After seeing Deer Creek Valley Ranch online and speaking to Christian on the phone.. we KNEW this was going to be our venue before we even saw the property! During the entire time that we were planning our wedding, Christian and her husband were so very kind and helpful. They helped us put on the most perfect wedding that I couldn't try to replicate anywhere else if I tried. The property is absolutely breathtaking. A very "mountains meets country" feel. Offering multiple ceremony sites no matter the weather. I'm trying to convince my husband that we should put on a wedding every year, just so we can go back && do it all over again!

Sean and I got engaged in March 2011 and decided we didn't want to wait until the following summer to get married (and winter just wouldn't do as most of our friends and family would be flying in for the big day). So we started our hunt for the perfect wedding venue right away, hoping to find an opening for the upcoming, quickly-approaching September. Then, on a drive through the mountains we stumbled upon the half-renovated Deer Creek Valley Ranch. We called the number and Tim and Christian came to meet us (with their two adorable girls) within minutes. Despite the open walls and torn up floors in the barn, Tim and Christian explained their vision for the venue with such detail and excitement that we were able to picture it perfectly and share in their enthusiasm. They told us about their love story and how they desired to provide a space for other couples to express their love and commitment to one another. Then they took us on a walk down the path to the gazebo where mine and Sean's ceremony was eventually held. It was there that I was hooked. My husband says he saw it in my eyes immediately and thought "well, this is it." The mountainous backdrop, fields of wildflowers, covered bridge and roaming horse just sang "Beautiful Colorado" in exactly the way I wanted it to for us and for our out-of-state (and even in-state) guests.

Over the following months, Christian worked hand-in-hand with me as I planned our wedding. She provided lots of ideas and support and was always willing to chat and brainstorm. She and Tim met with our vendors and Sean and me and gave us confidence that they would help everything go smoothly the day-of. And it did! On September 10, 2011 I married the love of my life in the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. (I was not the only person to say it that day!) The weather was perfect, our pictures turned out lovely, the atmosphere was totally Colorado and our guests partied and danced the night away in the perfectly completed barn with every detail taken into consideration - from the "floating bar" around the room to the gorgeous bridal suite and the bar stools made from saddles. It was everything I could have hoped for and more! I would argue that the Deer Creek Valley Ranch is the most authentic wedding venue Colorado has to offer. I would refer it and its owners to anybody.

We looked at a ton of places and Deer Creek Valley Ranch stuck out because it was not only gorgeous, but so laid-back and effortlessly perfect! Lindsay was super easy to work with and they had a lot of great resources to make planning simple and easy (when there are *so many* things to think about!)

The day of, we had plenty of time to get everything set-up and it was super seamless for the caterer, photographer and day-of-coordinator to make everything happen. The only 'tough part' (which they give you plenty of warning about) is that you have to coordinate your own transportation back to the meadow (if that's where you select). It's another thing to plan on, that you wouldn't have at other places, but it's still ultimately the perfect place to get married!

It even ended up raining and they moved stuff inside without us having to worry about anything!

Such an amazing day and a great time. Thank you to DCVR to help make it happen!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch was amazing! My guests were really wowed by the views and the barn was beautiful. Everyone loved our cocktail hour at the outdoor fireplace and everything was perfect, we are so pleased we chose this venue!! The only thing I didn't like was the list of vendors I had to choose from. The only beverage company I was allowed to use was a nightmare and I would never have hired them if I had had a choice. Outside of that, we loved everything about the venue! I had some concerns early on but the owner herself called me to address them and left me feeling relaxed and reassured! I would recommend this venue 10X over!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is one of the best venues in Colorado. We researched and visited a LOT of venues, and are so glad we finally found Deer Creek. First of all, the venue itself is just gorgeous. The barn has a rustic feel while still being super nice and comfortable - there's heating, air conditioning, and real (nice) bathrooms! I didn't even realize that was something we would have to consider until we visited a dozen other venues that were more expensive with no on-site toilets. There are 2 ceremony sites to choose from. We chose the gazebo site, and the views were amazing. Our guests were mostly from out of town, and they could not stop raving about how gorgeous it was. Next to the gazebo, there is a well-kept field with yard games to play, and our guests had so much fun. The only downside to the barn is that if you have more than 100 or so guests, some will need to sit upstairs, and it is a bit isolated. However, we really only had people up there during dinner, so it was not an issue. We utilized the amazing outdoor fireplace patio for speeches and first dance, and although it was a little chilly (especially for August), there was such a cozy feel. The "Man Cave" is also an amazing bonus feature. We kept having to pull guests upstairs to dance because everyone just wanted to hang out downstairs and play games because it was so cool.
The venue itself is amazing, but Lindsey, the Site Coordinator, was awesome to work with. She was super responsive and was always there to answer my questions. You can tell she really cares about her couples and just wants everyone's day to go as smoothly as possible.
Deer Creek Valley Ranch definitely ticked all of the boxes we were looking for in a venue. The value is really great for what you get, and all of our guests were super impressed. If you want a Colorado rustic mountain feel with elegance fairly close to Denver, look no further.

We had our wedding at Deer Creek Valley Ranch at the end of May, and it was everything we had imagined it would be an more! DCVR was an absolutely beautiful venue to have our wedding - we loved the natural beauty, the rustic barn, and the outdoor patio area. The boys had a blast getting ready in the Man Cave area before the ceremony! Lindsey, the venue manager, was an absolute joy to work with. She answered our endless questions, and went above and beyond to help with the planning pieces and to make sure that everything ran smoothly on our day. She is so invested in the couples she works with, and wants their day to be exactly as they imagine it to be! The only thing that we would have changed is that we wished we could have had one more hour included in the package as the day went by so fast, but that is a minor detail when it comes to all of the other amazing aspects of the venue. DCVR was our dream venue and we cannot recommend it enough!

We could not be happier with the venue we chose for our wedding, Deer Creek Valley Ranch! The owner, Christian and her husband, Tim were great to work with. They were extremely prompt in responses to emails and questions along the way and were very organized. Christian had a lot of great advice on vendors and resources while I was planning the wedding. She also let us come see the ranch numerous times (when my parents were visiting from out of town and others), so that we could plan our perfect day. Christian was flexible throughout the planning process as there were some last minute decisions that we changed/made! She worked very well with our day-of wedding coordinator (An Essential Event). Christian also helped us keep within our budget in a variety of ways, which was greatly appreciated.

The wedding day turned out beautifully and we were so happy to be celebrating in this beautiful location and venue!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch (DCVR) was the first venue we visited during a weekend both our parents were in town. We planned on visiting 5 different venues during their stay but by the time we left the second location we realized we couldn't stop talking about DCVR and realized no other place would top it. We booked it that day and never looked back.
There are plenty of reasons why you should choose DCVR but if you're planning a wedding, you're probably already a little overwhelmed so I'll share with you my top three reasons why I strongly recommend this venue:
1. Breathtaking setting: If you can't already tell by the many photos on their website the venue is absolutely gorgeous and shows off the best of Colorado's scenery. The restored barn, patio, and gazebo (our ceremony site) were all well maintained and each had their own beauty and elegance. We didn't have to spend very much on decorations because of the beautiful setting both inside and outside. That was a big help in the last few months of planning!
2. Guests will love it: Your guests are going to love hanging out at this venue. They have plenty of options when it comes to places to relax, celebrate and enjoy. Between the lighted patio and deck (cool off from all of the dancing and enjoy crisp mountain air), the loft (a place for guests to get away from the noise, catch up with old friends/family, and look out onto the property), the man cave (where guests can play a number of different games like shuffle board, pool, and foosball), and the dance floor, there was something for everyone!
3. DCVR Staff: I can't begin to say how much I appreciated the help and support Lindsey, the venue manager, provided throughout the entire process. She was quick to answer questions and provide guidance. They also invited us up to an opening house which proved to be very helpful in getting ideas and finding other vendors.

Bottom line: Visit the place, if it fits your style, book it because you won't regret it!

My husband and I recently got married at Deer Creek Valley Ranch. It was a perfect day. We chose the covered bridge site for our ceremony which provided the most fitting backdrop to start our lives together. Our guests seemed to enjoy the pre-ceremony cocktail hour at the foot of Mt Evans and it made for some fantastic photos as well.
The barn made for a beautiful reception space. We loved that people had so many options of places to be - inside, outside, the man cave. The man cave was a selling point for us since we aren't dancers. It gave the party a different kind of demension that most receptions don't have.
Overall, we were very happy with our decision to use DCVR as our venue. The staff was professional and responsive and made sure that we got the day that we wanted.

Absolutely wonderful day for my daughter! Beautiful venue, the staff is professional, everything was perfect. Only problem, we had to be out at exactly 10:15 pm, did not get to go in and grab the bouquets that the bridesmaids left or anything. Be aware, be ready to get out asap, this was not a surprise as we were warned but I did not realize how strict this policy was. I love everything else, just be aware.

Beautiful ranch, everything went very smoothly with only one logistical question that was quickly resolved. It was great to have amazing options for ceremony location. The day was wonderful and stress-free, Christian and her husband were very friendly, prompt, and genuine. Christian was on top of communications and making sure that planning went smoothly. The venue is beautiful and pretty laid-back. We didn't feel stuffed full of regulations and restrictions, though of course they have to have those. But they were more relaxed and reasonable than some of the places we looked at. The people there were great to work with. We really liked the list of caterers they work with, as well as the bar service. We had such a wonderful wedding!

The venue was excellent. It provided us with exactly what we wanted for our wedding. They were incredibly responsive to email questions throughout the planning process. I often received a response within a few hours. Christian truly cares about her venue and the couples that use it for their weddings. Loved this venue. It was truly a fairly tale wedding. My only complaint is the price and that more costs are added on quickly as many of their offerings are a la carte. They have started to include more things in their venue fee, I would recommend it all be included.

The ranch and barn are beautiful and the location in the mountains is perfect. The wedding ceremony and reception couldn't have gone better; however, the planning process was difficult. The ranch has a lot to offer but the prices were a little steep. We felt as though we were treated more like customers rather than guests soon to be married. I felt as though the interactions and planning process could have been more personal to us and more about us. Aside from that, everyone at the ranch is very prompt and quick with communication as well as very organized.

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is absolutely stunning. The property lends itself to some of the most beautiful views and we were beyond pleased with how clean and professional and well kept the property is. The venue staff was flexible with showing times and let us come back as we wanted to show family the venue in the months before the wedding. Our day was perfect and we were so happy we chose Deer Creek Valley Ranch. I would absolutely recommend this venue to any bride! Thank you DCVR!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding. Our pictures are breath-taking and the ranch is even more beautiful when it’s decorated with your wedding theme, colors, and ideas. We wanted mountains in the background and the meadow site was the most perfect and picturesque place we could imagine. Many of our guests were from out of state, but even those from CO were impressed with the view and overall venue. The barn is beautiful and requires little to no decoration since it’s authentic and so well maintained. We wished we had more than the 10 hours allowed since it made it more rushed the day of (but we had a longer reception), but it’s very do-able and you can have 11 if you opt not to have a rehearsal there. DCVR does have exclusive vendors that you must go through, but they have a variety of catering options (we used Occasions and they were AMAZING), Peak beverage is very easy to work with, inexpensive, and can personalize your bar selections, and requiring a month-of coordinator turned out to be one of the best things we spent money on. Lindsey, the event coordinator, was very responsive to questions and emails ahead of time. We loved the scenery and friends had fun staying in Bailey and experiencing small-town Colorado. I do recommend looking into transportation options for guests staying in Denver so they can enjoy the reception and not worry about driving down a mountain road! Overall, DCVR is the perfect scenery for an outdoor mountain wedding!
