The Grift made our wedding the most fun event of the year! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night and when they played Harvest Moon during the world's most epic sunset it really sealed the deal. All of our friends and family are still talking about how incredible the Grift was months later. I couldn't picture our wedding day without this band.

We came into wedding planning with 1 priority – hiring an awesome band to keep our guests on the dance floor all night. Not only was our dance floor PACKED all night – all of the venue staff members were dancing on the sidelines!
We searched the Vermont (+ Boston) area high and low for the best band (within a reasonable budget), and I’m confident the Grift is the absolute best band around, with competitive prices. They’re not a normal “wedding band” that is a mix-match of people that change in and out with the seasons, where you don’t know if the people you’re seeing at a demo gig will be the ones that play for your event. These guys are a solid musical group with a wide range, and they help you to tailor their overall selection to the right “vibe” for your day. Their event coordinator, Erin McCormick, was extremely responsive and helpful, too. I was sure a 4 piece band wouldn’t be able to bring the energy we wanted, but I’m so glad I listened to Erin, because the 4 piece band delivered huge sound and energy and helped us keep our costs in line. Two of these guys also played acoustic guitar for our ceremony, and they needed no direction at all. I can’t recommend the Grift highly enough – if you want a band at your wedding, they’re it.

The Grift played at our June 23, 2018 wedding and they were honestly one of the best parts of the wedding! All of our guests, were (and are still) raving about them. From the ceremony music, to cocktail hour and then at the reception, they could not have been better. Everyone had so much fun and the Grift played a huge part in that. Their energy and set-list for the reception was amazing - from the first song they played, until the last song, the dance floor was full of all age groups. They are also really nice guys and very easy to work with. Erin was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process - proactive in planning, answered all of our questions quickly and was happy to jump on the phone anytime. And as soon as I talked to Clint a few days before the wedding, I could tell the band totally knew what they were doing and there was nothing to worry about. The Grift surpassed expectations and we can't imagine a better band to have played at our wedding! We would 100% recommend them and can't say enough positive things about them! It’s hard to explain in an online review just how amazing The Grift was as our wedding band. From start to finish they had all of our guests up dancing the night away - and I do mean ALL of them! From introverted dads with no rhythm to elderly family members who we didn’t know could still dance, Clint and the guys gave us a night we will never forget. We've seen them play many times, and without fail they manage to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night. They have a special talent for transitioning from one song right into the next so their sets never seem to end! Their energy up on stage was contagious - you couldn’t help but have a great time. They learned a special mother-son dance song, and played steady through a wild group of flash mobbers surprising the bride and groom. A year later, many of our guests are still talking about how the Grift was the best wedding band they have ever seen. One couple even hired them to play at their 50th anniversary party. Thank you to Clint and his talented musical crew for giving us a night we will always cherish!!

They Grift kept everyone going, out on the dancefloor, all night long with their awesome music. Clint called me a week or so before the wedding to go over the details and was super friendly and enthusiastic, and it shows in the way that he and the whole band plays.

I wasn't sure that I wanted a live band when I started planning our wedding, but my parents convinced me to do so. After having The Grift, I couldn't be happier I made that decision. You'll never regret hiring this band - they are awesome!

The Grift made our wedding a blast for all! They were so great to work with and accommodated our musical preferences. They worked with us to make our ceremony music unique and reflective of us. The Grift had the experience and ability to feel out the crowd at the reception and adjust their playlist accordingly, so that they quickly got everyone up and staying on the dance floor, even people who don’t usually dance! All our guests loved them and commented that they were the best wedding band and that the dance floor was so much fun because of them. My brother is getting married next year, and he and the rest of my family immediately asked Clint as soon as the night was over about playing his wedding! Groom here. I'm a musician myself and the search for a band to play our wedding (260pp) was so incredibly difficult! After banging my head against the wall for months watching the same old songs covered in the same old way by average wedding bands on YouTube, I finally stumbled upon The Grift and immediately drove to VT to see them. Honestly, if you are searching for a professional, energetic, authentic and creative band to play your wedding look no further. The Grift absolutely blew up the dance floor at our wedding starting with our first dance through the end of the night. Their song list is super eclectic & accessible to all at the same time and they also nailed the songs we requested they learn. Clint is the man & was super easy to work with - he did an excellent job managing the flow of the evening. I think you get the picture here... long story short, these are your guys

The Grift is ABSOLUTELY the BEST wedding band ever! The guys are so nice and accommodating, and they did everything we asked of them without hesitation (including a few unusual requests)! We had so many of our wedding guests come up to us after the wedding and say The Grift was the most fun wedding band they had ever seen, and we've even had some of our friends who are getting married soon approach us about getting them as their wedding band, because of how much fun they had at our wedding. The set lists were perfect, and they knew exactly how to get our guests of ALL ages on the dance floor. They learned a few songs for us for first dance, father/daughter dance, etc and did an outstanding job with those songs. I cannot say enough good things about The Grift, and if you are considering them, I would say look no further. These are your guys. They went above and beyond in every way and were worth every penny. We LOVE The Grift!!

As the FOB, my only request was live music, and The Grift was a clear first choice. Absolutely made the weekend - worth skimping on almost anything else if you have budget constraints to have these guys. Worth every penny; engaged, personable, added a few personal twists, kept the floor packed for three straight hours with teenagers, millennials, parents, and grandparents. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
