The historic Granada Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. The beautifully restored theater consists of an opulent 1,500-seat performance hall, a gorgeous banquet room on our balcony level, and open, airy and warmly decorated spaces in between. The McCune Founders Room can accommodate 120 guests for a seated dinner, while the main stage can accommodate 225 guests.

This was the best reception site, better than i imagined. They really worked with me from getting floor plans, recommending other vendors, working with my out of town caterer. They really helped in every aspect. This site does not require a lot of decor which is nice and they sprovide table and chairs. William the site coordinator was very responsive to all emails. He made the reception efortless for me (the bride). They have free parking which is hard to find in state street and really close to the bars afterwards.Sent on 06/15/2011

I had my wedding cocktail hour and reception at The Granada Theatre a couple of weeks ago, and it was honestly an amazing experience. I'd highly recommend any bride who might be thinking about having their wedding at a more "unique" venue to look into The Granada Theatre. It is GORGEOUS, and has a historic feeling, and for for me, the I found it so incredible how flexible the space is! If you have any event on the stage, the team at Granada was super open minded to lighting, hanging things (like chandeliers, or marquee lights), layout, etc. Literally any idea that we had, they were basically like "sure, ok!"Sent on 08/31/2015
The team at Granada was also incredibly nice, accommodating, responsive, and helpful. We randomly showed up a couple of times (no appointment) to take a peek at the space, and each time, they were totally cool with either finding staff to take us around, or letting us wander on our own. I got the vibe that they were just really kind, caring people who wanted us to have the best event possible and are really proud of their theater.
We were initially a little nervous about the idea of having our wedding in a theater, because we're not theater connoisseurs or anything like that, but when we went to see the space for the first time and saw how gorgeous and flexible it was, we were totally sold. Our guests were blown away by how cool the space was and enjoyed hanging out in the different parts of the theater. ALSO! You get your name on the marquee outside the theater if you get married there.... that's a once in a lifetime opportunity right? :)
