The Best Wedding Food and a Beautiful Cape Cod Venue!

We had our wedding at the Flying Bridge in August 2025 and it was the absolute best. We would highly recommend the Flying Bridge for your wedding!
We initially visited three venues around the Falmouth area and several others elsewhere, and the Flying Bridge was an easy first choice, as it was more affordable and convenient than most of the other options.
What sold us on the Flying Bridge was A) it’s one of our favorite Cape restaurants so we knew the food is excellent, B) the venue feels like it’s outdoors but is weather-protected, with huge windows on three sides - plus it has a wraparound deck with a beautiful view of the marina and doubles as the rain location, C) the ability to get married outdoors, with use of the beach for only a little extra cost, D) the convenience of having one vendor hosting our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, E) the location is close to downtown Falmouth and numerous hotel options, and F) the overall cost was very affordable.
We were one of the first couples to have our ceremony at the beach in front of the Falmouth Tides hotel. It was only a 5-minute ride for our guests back to the Flying Bridge for cocktail hour.
Mike Collins and his team are fantastic to work with, and they were extremely flexible in letting us customize our dream day. He let us drop by numerous times to view the venue and even let us scout a wedding earlier in the season to see how everything would flow.
We chose a la carte entrees, giving guests the option of the perfect pair (steak and baked stuffed shrimp), the baked cod, or the vegetarian option (which was simply pasta and red sauce). Appetizers were Flying Bridge’s award-winning clam chowder and a Caesar salad.
We bankrolled an open bar, and with several sober guests, we appreciated that we only had to pay for what our guests drank. We also paid extra to extend the reception one more hour (cocktail hour 6-7, reception 7-12), but we elected to cut off liquor at 10 pm (beer, wine, seltzer only after that). The drink selection is great (our guests loved the Long Drinks) but heads up they don’t do draft beer.
Our 140 guests sat at one head table of 14, plus 16 round tables of 8 or 9 (six of these tables were out on the deck).

Ten Star Venue

The Flying Bride best 10 stars! We hosted our wedding event here on Mother's Day weekend. Everything was PERFECT. We chose the venue for its great location and views, but were spectacularly impressed with the quality of the food, and service! The Gold Reception dinner was over-the-top for presentation and quality. The Viennese Table (a pastry buffet) was a decadent display of truly wonderful desserts. I chose mini grilled cheese sandwiches for a late-night snack, and they were adorably delicious. Brie was a pleasure to work with. All of her advice was spot-on, and I am glad that I listened. All the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. This is the second wedding that I have hosted; in my opinion the Flying Bridge prices are quite reasonable. For what they deliver in value, everyone thought that we spent twice as much! As an aside, I was worried about people feeling "left out" in the most rear three tables, but the people that were there said that they liked their "quiet corner!"

We hosted our welcome dinner at the Flying Bridge this September and the food was outstanding. We had our own space in the back, and the food was top notch. Service was on point and professional. Thank you!

I cannot say enough great things about the Flying Bridge. We got married here on 9/3/17 and had our ceremony and reception at this location. Brie, the wedding coordinator, was so on top of things despite having a stressful role as event manager. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and so easy and fun to work with. During the planning phase, she would always respond to our non-urgent calls within a day, and would always have our wedding details laid out in front of her whenever we spoke. Her service on the day of, however, was unparalleled and worthy of so much praise. She met me (the bride) upon my arrival, made sure we ate dinner, was always visible and available yet never in the way. She even went out of her way the day before the wedding to buy sand for one of our decorations, which I forgot to pack. In addition to Brie, the ENTIRE staff - from the hostess to the servers to the bartender - was friendly, quick, and efficient. The food was INCREDIBLE - we got so many compliments from our guests, many of whom said it was they best wedding meal they've ever had. All of this, mind you, is in addition to the view this place has - which speaks for itself. The upstairs function room is private, spacious, and pretty customizable in terms of linens, decor, etc. These people are happy to work with you and create your perfect day, instead of focusing on things like cake cutting fees and other minutia that so many other venues nickle and dime you for. I truly cannot say enough good things and am so happy that we chose Flying Bridge for our most important day.

The Flying Bridge and everyone there went above and beyond for me. They responded to phone calls and emails promptly, answered any questions with ease, and are wonderful the weekend of the event. They set everything up just as I envisioned and helped out continuously throughout the wedding. Jenna, one of the wedding supervisors, even helped me with my bustle and made sure my husbands and i's food was kept warm for us. The wedding was perfect because of the hard work they put in! Plus the view is gorgeous!

TFB was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible. The service impeccable We worked with both Tyler and Jeff and they made sure that everything we wanted for our day was achievable. So many people came up to us and said it was one of the best weddings they had attended. We chose to have the stations and it was the BEST decision. FYI, go for the mashed potato bar!

Perfect. Laura was such a big help coordinating all the little details and keeping everything running smoothly. The views were incredible, the food was fantastic, the service was amazing. We got so many "this was the best wedding"s, I seriously lost count. Great for planning from afar (did everything from the West Coast) and for those that don't want to decorate too much. The harbor is a centerpiece in and of itself. So much fun. Highly recommended to all!
