The Fab Folk are an acoustic duo that performs the music of the Beatles and more with a folk twist, featuring vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, mandolin and percussion. They have performed all across the Rocky Mountain region for audiences of all ages, including appearances at the Utah Arts Festival, America’s Freedom Festival at Provo, The Grand America Hotel, Thanksgiving Point, Homestead Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, Alta and Park City TV. Their mellow yet upbeat sound will delight audiences who remember these songs from their youth, as well as introduce the family-friendly music to younger generations. The members of duo are the husband and wife team, Jake Haws and Melissa Dupree Haws. They met through their love of music and have previously performed together on other projects over the years. The duo’s arrangements put their own touch of these classic songs and draw influence from contemporary indie folk artists like Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, The Shins, Wilco and Fleet Foxes.
