The moment we arrived for our initial tour, we were warmly welcomed with kindness and professionalism. Instead, they allowed the beauty and value of The Elms to speak for itself, and that authenticity made a huge difference in our decision.

The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in a serene and natural setting, The Elms boasts expansive grounds, mature trees, and charming architectural details that provide a picture-perfect backdrop without the need for excessive décor. In fact, the venue’s natural beauty significantly reduced our need to invest heavily in floral arrangements or decorations, everything already felt magical.

One of the greatest advantages of The Elms is their flexibility with planning options. They offer several service packages to fit a variety of needs. Whether you choose to utilize their in-house planning team or work with your own vendors like we did, Casey and Lisa are there every step of the way. They coordinated seamlessly with our outside planner and made sure everything ran smoothly leading up to and on the big day. Their level of communication, attention to detail, and commitment to making our vision come to life were unmatched.

Thanks to The Elms, our wedding day was more than we ever dreamed it could be. From the stunning ceremony space to the warm and supportive staff, everything came together perfectly. The Elms staff was amazing. Not only did they make everything so easy through the planning process, but then they were excellent the day of. I heard so many compliments from guests about how helpful the venue staff was. I would defiantly recommend to any friend or family member.

This venue was AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about them! The venue is gorgeous! They have plenty of room to accommodate any size wedding, and they have indoor and outdoor ceremony options. Rachael was our wedding planner and made our day a DREAM! She made the process stress free and so enjoyable! She kept us on track throughout the planning process and helped us find the best deals with vendors. Every penny we spent was worth it! Thank you guys so much for such an amazing day!

The Elms, an old Civil War mansion, is a beautiful, relaxing venue for a wedding, party, family reunion, or company picnic! Janet Waldo and her family open their home to families to come and experience a very special time in your life. In our case, a wedding!Janet was very helpful and encouraging throughout the whole process. We will always have precious memories of our little girl's wedding day and we are grateful for the opportunity to have The Waldos and The Elms to assist us for our special event!

We loved this venue from the first moment we toured and they did not disappoint! We had a six month turn around from the time we got engaged to the time we got married, and Savannah, our wedding coordinator, provided by the Elms, was able to make the planning so easy. Even though sometimes I felt like I was being crazy, she was always reassuring, and able to answer all the questions I had. She put us on to great vendors (caterer, etc.) and was always available by text (which is more than amazing). The day of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly, and was always available to help.

We had a few minor technical difficulties during the reception, but it all worked out in the end. Everyone had a wonderful time, and told us how beautiful the house was, and how wonderful everything looked.

It was the wedding we wanted - Southern garden party feel, and just so beautiful.
