Situated on over 70 acres between Montgomery, Auburn, Birmingham, this estate offers a picturesque setting for elegant and exclusive celebrations. The manor is owned and operated by the Marr family, who purchased the property in 2010. Over the years, the grounds have hosted many family gatherings, trips to Lake Martin, and Auburn games. Exuding Southern charm and modern convenience, it now welcomes couples to celebrate their momentous occasions in its hallowed and historic halls.

Facilities and Capacity
When you arrive at Marsgate, you will be greeted by tall white columns that frame the Colonial-style façade. The mansion boasts more than 20,000 square feet of event space spread over two floors of 14-foot high ceilings and two private porches. Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in a sweeping entrance hall with hardwood floors, a grand spiral staircase, and a sparkling crystal chandelier. Explore the manor to discover a parlor, a library, and 10 fireplaces, around which you can gather with friends and family. On the big day, you can prepare in the Bridal Suite, which includes a master bedroom and private bathroom with marble floors and granite countertops. This lounge also has a walk-in closet and screened-in porch where you can sip cocktails with your wedding party ahead of the ceremony. A Groom’s Quarters features a copper-topped bar, a pool table, and access to an exercise room. Outside, you can hold your ceremony or reception on the verdant lawns surrounded by leafy trees.

Services Offered
The Marr family provides three rental packages that you can choose between based on your needs and budget. The most comprehensive of these comes with a four-hour rehearsal dinner, all-day use of the full estate, and breakdown time the next day. You will also receive a number of round and rectangular tables and 100 chairs. Your caterer is invited to use the 1,500-square-foot kitchen, which is equipped with a Viking refrigerator and freezer, Viking range, and two Viking ovens. For overnight accommodations, you and your wedding party can stay in the 10 tastefully-appointed rooms and enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
