About

The Dundies is a wedding band based in Lynchburg, Virginia. Since 2013, this four-piece has provided live musical entertainment across age groups at weddings and other events. With their long experience and larger-than-life style, these musicians are sure to bring a high-energy performance to pack your dance floor.

Services Offered

For your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, The Dundies offers a repertoire of over 80 hit songs across oldies, country, classic rock, and top 40’s. All members have years of experience on stage, and more instruments are available in addition to their guitar, bass, and drums. The band can take care of their own setup and cleanup, meaning one less thing for you to worry about. In addition to weddings, The Dundies is available to play at other special events and celebrations. These include:

perfect for our wedding

The dundies played for our wedding in April and we cannot recommend them enough! They had an awesome song selection with lots of variety and are exceptional performers. We had the time of our lives and all of our guests have complimented how much fun they had with the dundies! They definitely go above and beyond for a wedding band - my husband would highly recommend them for any couple that is looking to make their wedding night the time of their lives!

The Dundies were one of the biggest highlights of our wedding day!

Everything went perfect with the Dundies during our wedding weekend! They were an absolute hit with us and our guests, Danny's energy is unreal and unmatched! The Dundies were such a huge part of making our night be everything we wanted it to be and the dance floor was full and high energy all night long just like we wanted. 10/10 recommend to anyone that wants a lively dance floor all night long!

Award winning performance!!

The Dundies were incredible. The band played an excellent show at our wedding reception, covers ranging from classic rock, R&B, alternative rock, and recent hits. They brought great energy, played a 2.5 - 3 hour set, and even learned a song for our first dance. Leading up to our wedding, The Dundies were friendly and easy to work with and had great communication. They exceeded our expectations, and all of our guests complimented them on how awesome they were. Could not recommend The Dundies highly enough!!!

Totally Electric!

The Dundies were without a doubt the life of the party for our wedding. They did an incredible job of engaging our guests and keeping the dance floor alive for the entire evening. They made us, as the bride and groom, truly feel like the stars of the night without a doubt. At times, the Dundies even allowed us to pass off the mic to each other. They were absolutely electric and we would recommend them to any wedding couple in the future!

Excellent Show!

The Dundies were an amazing addition to our wedding! My husband was beyond excited to book them! It was an easy process, I would share a Spotify playlist of songs we hoped to hear during the reception, which they aligned with their set list!
They were also open and receptive to my requests to play the original songs for ceremony prelude, introductions and first dances! That was so important to me and Danny was supportive and encouraging!
The party started and they had a wonderful set list! They kept the dance floor packed and smiles across the crowd! They even played some of our favorite line dances during their breaks - so the party never stopped!
All in all it was a wonderful night and we can’t thank them enough for their contributions to an important milestone in our lives!

Best band ever

We knew this before they performed at our wedding. My wife and I saw them perform a few times in college and told ourselves that when we got married we would have the Dundies play our wedding. When we finally got engaged and it was time to start planning, The Dundies were our first call. Before a venue, before a date, we needed to secure this band, and they did not disappoint. The Dundies crushed it in every aspect of their performance from the introductions, to the songs, to getting the crowd involved. It was the perfect entertainment for our guests and we received many compliments on the band we chose. My wife and I knew what to expect when hiring the Dundies but even we couldn't have imagined how great the night would be with them performing.

Brought the party

They were absolutely amazing! Danny was super easy to work with leading up to the wedding and the band did a great mix of music and brought the energy all night! Every guest we had raved about the band! We got married in Virginia Beach, so it was great that they travel too.

Book them!!

Amazing, hands down you and your guest will not regret booking them. Danny is profesional and takes your music needs seriously while putting on a party that will leave your guests and your self raving.

Best wedding band ever

These guys bring a lot of energy and are very interactive with the crowd. We were consistently told this was the most fun wedding all of our guests have been to and the band gets all that credit. Danny and the fellows communicated well and were perfectly on time. They also came to hang out with us at the welcome party the night before to meet some of the guests.

Would recommend 100 out of 100 times.
