The Trump Soho is the perfect venue for a NYC fairytale wedding. Jessica was my main contact from the beginning and helped us plan our dream, intimate wedding. Jessica was always prompt at answering emails even before we booked the venue. The set-up was exactly how I envisioned the day of the wedding. We had the dinner and dance in the SoHi room and the view impressed our out of town guests and NYC guests. I was nervous about the food not being able to try it before booking, but their food is outstanding. Guests are still talking about the salmon served at the reception and the crab cake sliders at the cocktail hour. Additionally the Trump Soho prides themselves on larger portions than most weddings. The main food highlight was the cake by Ron Ben Israel, which was included in our package. The cake was beautiful and the taste was outstanding. Ron Ben Israel was also great and easy to work with. Ray was in charge of the service the day of the wedding and catered to the grooms and my food and beverage needs all night long making sure we always had a drink and brought us food. We booked our wedding at Trump Soho a little over a year before our wedding and from the day we first contacted the event team to inquire about availability to the day of our wedding we were treated with the utmost respect, warmth, hospitality, patience, and excitement! My husband and I had a difficult time deciding on the right venue but Trump Soho fit the bill perfectly! It is beautiful, clean, contemporary, sleek, and has fantastic views of the city. What truly drew us in was that the first people we met, Hanna and Erin, were as excited about our upcoming marriage as we were! And that excitement and warmth never faltered, no matter how many times we emailed or called them both with questions and follow-ups about hotel room blocks, the wedding, or our other wedding events. We hosted our welcome party the night before and a brunch the morning after the wedding at Trump and it was incredible. Erin, Hanna, and Colleen are the most professional, friendly, helpful, and wonderful people to work with! Plus, our chef for all three events, Chef Brian, is the most talented chef - we received several compliments during and after all three events raving about the food! James was also unbelievable - extremely kind and attentive to our needs throughout each event and very in control of everything. He put us right at ease with his professionalism and friendliness. In fact, Chef Brian and James went out of their way to rearrange went out of their way to rearrange our floral arrangements for our morning after brunch because there weren't enough for all the tables. During our wedding, one of the servers made sure that my grandmother, who has poor eye sight and limited mobility, never wanted for anything - making sure during cocktail hour to continue to bring her food and drink so she didn't have to get up and checking in on her during the reception.
