Hi, we just had The Bold City Classics play at our sons Shamus and his new wife, Caroline’s wedding reception here in beautiful Amelia Island. WOW! Is the one word that I would use to describe the spectacular performance that this 12-piece band blasted out onto a completely packed dance floor all night. The Bold City Classics (great name) with their multiple horns, and 3 vocalists were the best live band performance that I’ve ever seen at a wedding reception. We are so glad that we hired Sarah and the band. The band had to learn a rendition of a song for the bride and groom dance……nailed it…….and the vocalist had to learn the Natalie Merchant song, Kind & Generous, and nailed it! If you haven’t had a chance to go listen to this band, you can find them, but with the time it takes to book spectacular bands, which everyone will remember (we had our family and guests of all ages coming up to us all night long, and letting my wife and I know how great the band is) at Shamus and Caroline’s wedding……just get them booked! Don’t think twice about booking Bold City Classics, just hope they are available! They were incredible and kept the party going the entire night. The dance floor was packed, and we can’t count the number of guests who positvely commented and asked about the band. They did a great job with our three custom songs (First Dance, Father/Daughter, and Mother, Son) . We also booked the instrumental music for the ceremony and a duo for the cocktail hour - the music the whole night was phenomenal and definitely worth the wedding investment!

Bold City Classics were amazing! One of our favorite parts of our wedding day. They learned our first dance song and also learned our chosen processional songs for the ceremony. We felt very strongly about keeping the music at a lower volume during dinner and they completely delivered on this request, and then turned up for the amazing dance party of our dreams! We gave them a few songs that we liked and they played the perfect playlist that matched the vibe we were going for. We went for the 9-piece size (which , compared to most wedding prices, felt like it was reasonably priced considering the product!) and they were INCREDIBLE. like WOW. do your guests a favor and hire BCC !

I contacted BCC to perform for a private gathering at my home to celebrate my fiance's birthday. Sarah, Cody, Jarrett & Cortnie knocked the socks off our guests!

Their talent, energy and stellar showmanship really can't be beat! Chris' voice and the band's musical talent put them in a class all by themselves. They don't just play instruments and sing, they put on a show as good as anything I have seen even in Vegas. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for The Chris Thomas Band.... the professionalism, great communication, and FANTASTIC performance at our wedding this past weekend at The Treasury on the Plaza in St. Augustine was EPIC! This band was amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE looking to host an event, wedding or otherwise. I can foresee them at our anniversary parties in the future! Having a Live Band for a Wedding is fantastic, and having the Chris Thomas Band is the BEST! They have a variety of sizes to choose from 3 piece up to full big band orchestra! We had the 8 piece band and what a rich, full sound! Chris Thomas is an excellent singer and really gets the crowd into the music. Fun was had by all...dancers and listeners alike!
