I put off writing this review because that meant that my time with Courtney was officially over. Courtney was the second vendor I booked in May 2019, two months before I was engaged. I knew absolutely nothing about wedding planning at the time but I knew it was something I wanted no parts in handling on my own. I sought a full planner that could execute my vision.

What drew me to Courtney was her Instagram portfolio. The images weren’t what I call stereotypical Black wedding aesthetic and that spoke to me. I like modest and medium-sized centerpieces that allow for cross table conversations. Also, noticing her work with a variety of couples and the fact that her husband is Black (I scrolled all the way back) made me think yup, I want a call with her. After the call (which she allowed me to set within 24 hours of inquiring), I felt like she was the one. She was initially recommended to me by my floral designer, so that felt like another checked box.

Over that time, we met multiple times and began working on my wedding — and then Covid happened. So, Courtney helped us navigate our initial planning and then our pivot. We decided to push our big celebration out but she coordinated our home elopement. It came out beautifully. So of course, she also knocked out our bigger celebration out the roof.

I’m a very Type A bride so I’m hands-on and involved more than I should be. Courtney handled all my questions and requests in a timely manner. On my second wedding day, she shielded me from a lot of BS (I found out later LOL) but also navigated a lot of last minute wedding emergencies with grace.

Like I said, I didn’t want to write this because it would mean my time with her planning my forever wedding(s) would be over. But I’m grateful for the 2.5 years with her! I’ll find something else for her to plan later :)

Hiring a wedding planner on the surface may look like a unnecessary expense. The planning fees are worth every penny. A great wedding planner will make or break how successful your wedding will be. Our wedding venue required us to have one. After interviewing six planners we made the decision to hire Courtney Jackson. She is very organized, broke all the decisions into small manageable lists and my fiancee said on many occasions that her ability to keep me focused and calm through out the entire process was a miracle We had a destination wedding and despite her not being familiar with the venue she sought out and secured the most amazing vendors. I can truly say that our wedding was something you would only see in a fairytale. A few things went wrong - my wedding dress after picking it up from alterations had a stain across the back. Courtney put the wheels in motion and my dress was spotless in 48 hours. The entire day of the wedding was magical and no detail was missed. I am so grateful to Courtney for all she did to create a wedding that was perfect in every possible way.

Courtney is the best! If you are looking for a planner who is organized, thoughtful, and a true advocate for her bride. Look no further. The planning process was so smooth and steam less. She also handles issues with vendors wonderfully. I had a couple. Book her ASAP!

Courtney was such an amazing wedding coordinator. Our wedding was canceled due to COVID and made into an intimate vow renewal instead. She was so kind, patient and understanding through the whole process and absolutely thorough with all the small details. I was able to rely on her with ease knowing everything she did, she did with certainty. Would recommend her 10x over for any type of event. Always on time, three steps ahead and so organized. Thank you for everything you did for us!

My wedding was the best day of my life and everything turned out exactly how I envisioned it to be. Courtney is a wedding master to say the least. My planning was about a year and a half and she was AMAZING throughout the entire process. She was so organized and communicative with me and made it a stress-free experience. I can’t express enough how grateful I was for her and if you’re looking for your wedding planner, call Courtney ASAP!

There’s only one word to describe Courtney - AMAZING! Courtney came to us a month before our new wedding date. Our entire planning process had been rocked by Covid and our wedding had been postponed. Courtney was very detailed, thorough, and professional. Our wedding day went so smoothly that it felt like a Hollywood production. She was absolutely perfect. I cannot imagine how our wedding day would have gone without her. She is literally everything and more! We’re going to miss her for sure but we will be recommending her to all of our friends and engaged couples that we come across.

Where do I even begin? Courtney is simply INCREDIBLE in every sense of the word. We hired her to be a "day of" coordinator, which is laughable now because from the second we hired her (about 9 months our from my wedding) to my wedding date she was involved every step of the way. She immediately took over managing all of my vendors, kept me on track of all the details (even the little ones I hasn't even thought about) and regularly checked in with me. She thought of EVERYTHING - scheduled and attended my walkthroughs, customized my timeline, worked closely with vendors to update on timing/logistics, kept me on track with invites/RSVP deadlines, etc.. She became part of our family throughout this process because of how closely she worked with us and we trusted her with everything. She was always a text or phone call away and responded immediately to everything I sent her. On my actual wedding day, she and her amazing team worked so hard to make everything absolutely perfect. She managed the timeline, dealt with the 200+ people and all their various needs/issues, managed the vendors, solved any problem that came up, and did probably 100+ things behind the scenes that I don't know about to make sure nothing went wrong - all the while keeping the biggest smile on her face and having the best energy. My strap broke on my dress and she was so prepared that she was able to fix it in literally 5 minutes. She was with me every step of the way - from when I hired her on the very first day to the send-off at the end of the night. She made sure I always had a drink in my hand, checked in on me throughout the night to make sure I was ok, and was constantly updating the timeline when I was running slightly behind (so smoothly that I never even noticed). I was stress-free on my wedding day because I knew she would handle any and everything. She is incredibly patient and handles herself with such grace that she has been such a calming force for me amongst all the stress and I just could not recommend her enough. I've already recommended her to my best friend and want to recommend her and her team to EVERYONE - she was the best decision I made in the wedding process and she will be the best decision in yours as well.

Courtney was extraordinary.... there are truly not enough words to thank her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and positivity were above & beyond. She made us feel so comfortable, loved and cared for throughout the entire process. I couldn’t have imagined a better coordinator for the day of our wedding and am forever thankful. Even after the wedding was over, my friends and family continued to tell me how great she was throughout the week. Honestly, I’m going to miss her! Without a doubt, I will be recommending her to friends, family, and future brides (anyone) looking to put on an event in the future. Courtney - you are the best of the best!

Having Courtney as our wedding coordinator was a life saver. I honestly thought I could do it on my own but I quickly became overwhelmed.
