We fell in love with the original wood, stained glass windows, and overall historic and romantic feel. We really appreciated the very reasonable price too; that was a huge bonus for us! We had our ceremony in the chapel and then a cocktail hour outside while the chapel was being flipped for our reception. We had about 190 people total, and it was a great fit (with vendors and helpers taking over the flip). We also love downtown Decatur, and even though there wasn't specific parking for our guests, there are plenty of very close options. Another huge selling point for us was that we were able to provide our own alcohol and choose our food vendor - that was a huge way to conserve funds. Our pictures are absolutely lovely here - we also took some pictures across the street by the big magnolia trees which was beautiful. We had a big dance party and great DJ, and the space was great for it. Lisa, venue director, is a very quick and efficient communicator as well as huge help! Will cherish this chapel forever!

The venue is stunning, steeped with gorgeous detailed work of a historic building.. it takes your breath away seeing it in person. Our 120 guest wedding had so much space and room still — spacious and grand!
