The Cellar on Railroad

The Cellar on Railroad is an intimate wine bar, modern tapas restaurant and event venue located in the historic heart of Buena Vista, Colorado. In addition to regular dinner service, the team loves to help make a couple's wedding, rehearsal dinner, and brunch event a success. They take pride in their carefully curated wine lists, farm to table food offerings and inviting mountain setting.

Facilities and Capacity

The Cellar on Railroad features three separate areas that can be used for weddings and related gatherings. Inside, there is the wine bar and restaurant, and outside is a heated and covered patio, as well as an exterior courtyard. With an outdoor gas fireplace and elegantly styled interiors, the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Couples can utilize the venue's spaces in different ways, depending on their vision for their big day and the package they choose. During the peak season from May 16th to October 31st, the restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests. During the rest of the year, at low season, the team is able to welcome events of up to 50 people.

Hosting an event at The Cellar on Railroad includes tables and chairs for your convenience. The team also provides Sommelier curated beverage packages, helping to enhance the dining experience. The thoughtfully prepared cuisine is served in a buffet style, and dishes can include seasonal salads, smoked meats, pasta entrees, and more. To ensure that high standards of customer service are met, the restaurant's own waitstaff works the wedding or event.
