The Cake Canvas opened in the spring of 2010. The owner, Becky Carpenter, had spent the last several months building a licensed kitchen at her home which was to be the site for the business. With the kitchen up and running we attended the Fort Wayne Bridal Extravaganza to kick off the opening of the business. Becky has spent several years making cakes for family and friends and has taken many classes to improve her skills and learn techniques. She works with Shelly Netherton, who attended pastry school at Johnson & Wales University and previously worked and gained valuable experience at a wonderful cake shop, Heavenly Sweets Cakes,located in Noblesville, IN.

Becky and Shelly are excited to offer custom made cakes for weddings, birthdays and any kind of special occasion. While we focus on cakes, we also offer cookie bouquets, cookie favors, cupcakes and candies.
