Ashlee impressed me not just because her cake was beautiful but because she was also incredibly professional and took the time to meet with us personally (on top of running a bakery and creating and delivering amazing cakes for many events) to make sure that we got exactly what we needed. The process began with my now-husband and I purchasing a cake-tasting box from the bakery. Her flavors are amazing, and she can create hundreds of spectacular combinations (including vegan options) to have a unique and delicious cake-tasting experience. The purchase money towards the box was taken off our bill when we booked with her. She then sat down with my husband and I to determine what our dream look would be. She listened to all of our needs, drew precisely what our cake would look like, and included details to make sure she got it exactly right. She expressed pure joy in doing her work, which led us to believe that she would meet all our expectations, and she did. The cake was beautiful and unlike any I'd ever seen before. Ashlee has incredible talent and her cakes are great signature pieces for any event.

I can't stop raving about our wedding cake. She is so flexible and adapts to your style! We wanted a naked cake with berries and it was quite a hipster vision...and she did it better than I imagined! Seriously beautiful cake! Our cake was for 60 people and then we also had a small cake on the side that was for about 10 people.

Ashley was on it. I had a very specific idea for my wedding cake and she rolled up her sleeve and got to work! the cake was GORGEOUS. Too bad there was NONE left for me to try to try but all our guests said it was amazing. We also had cupcakes and there was not one left and we ordered enough dessert for 1.8X our guest count! Our meeting with her was very detailed, which is what I need because I'm an anxious person. For example, she drew a picture of the wedding cake during our meeting w/ colored markers -- so adorable and appreciate the level of detail and thought for your special day.

We purchased our wedding cake and favors (short bread cookies) from Ashlee. Ashlee was very attentive and professional. Her shortbread is out of this world delicious. We got a lot of compliments on her products.

Whenever I would ask for a recommendation on a bakery for my wedding cake, I was told to go to the Cake Artists Studio. They are simply the best in town!!

Ashlee (the owner) could not have been more of a pleasure to work with. I brought pictures of what I was thinking in terms of design to our consultation, and she sketched out the most perfect looking cake featuring exactly what I was looking for.

It was perfectly sweet and classy looking, with clean lines and the right amount of detail. Not to mention, delicious! I received many complements from my guests on her beautiful work.

We had multiple cakes/flavors as well as cookies, mini cupcakes, and brownies. She provided a beautiful set-up in addition to fantastic desserts. They were a hit among our guests.

We had a cake budget and she worked exactly with what we wanted. She made our cake beautiful and a show stopper. I would highly recommend.

Their cake is the absolute best in Champaign-Urbana. Buy a cake tasting box yourself to compare with other bakers (they apply the cost to your cake price). Our four tiered cake (lemon with raspberry buttercream filling and chocolate with cappucino filling) was gorgeous and the white sheet cake was as well.

The Cake Artist Studio does not only make the best tasting cakes, cupcakes, and cookies around, they decorate them beyond what you could ever imagine!! I went in for a consultation with my husband, and we really didn't have a good image of what we were thinking. We just let them know that we were thinking of some abstract flowers and tons of piping!! We also wanted a very beautiful clean cake, however, neither of us really care for fondant. We were assured that she could use butter cream icing and make it appear just as smooth as fondant; the finished cake looked and tasted AMAZING!!! I got so many compliments on not only the appearance but also the taste!! We will never go to another cake maker!!! We actually just made another order for our baby shower!!! I would 100% recommend The Cake Artist Studio again and again!!!
