We booked the red convertible British Taxi as our getaway car and it was just perfect! They arrived 15 minutes early so our florist could decorate the car and our driver couldn't have been nicer! He was prepared to drive us around for a bit, then take us to an after party, but when we got in the car, we realized how exhausted we were and how just sitting in the back of the car and looking up at all the stars in the sky, we asked our driver to just drive us around the island in loops. It was beyond relaxing and just what we needed after a fun-filled wedding day. And when we were ready to head to our cottage at Eagle Point, our driver headed that way, helped us with our bags, and removed the decor for us to keep.
Booking the car was a breeze as well! Kind and courteous! I love that they call YOU for final payment the week of your wedding. They understand how busy the bride and groom are and can forget to call and make final payments.
Highly recommend British Taxi, especially if you are getting married in Wilmington, NC area!

2 words... SO COOL!
my husband and I rented "Big Ben", the stretch for the first half of our night for transportation for me and my girls, and my husband and his guys. And then the driver stuck around and parked in the front of our venue so our guests could see and take pictures, then we switched to one of the black classic cars for our send off car and we were even able to put a wreath on it!
Our driver was SO polite and accommodating!
My husband and I almost didn't use any transportation, but the quiet ride through town with the windows down and cool breeze after our wedding was the PERFECT ending to our day and made it 100% worth it!

I really enjoyed the British Taxi - it was one of the more distinctive parts of our wedding day. Anybody can show up in a stretch limo... but how many times have you seen a pristine candy apple red British taxi? It made our arrival a truly grand entrance!
