I started making black cake for family and friends as a special treat and for special occasions and I was given incredible feedback which made me want to bake more. After perfecting my recipe, I decided to challenge myself by making black cake for my brother-in-law's wedding favours and to make a long story short - it was a success! After this gigantic undertaking, I received an overwhelming demand for my black cake, so with the encouragement of my family and friends I decided to officially become The Black Cake Lady.
