Carrie Jo provided photography for my wedding in Marietta, GA and was everything I wanted from a photographer and more. I can't say enough positive things. She kept a wedding emergency kit and had the needle and thread for my wedding coordinator to use to sew one of the groom's buttons back onto his tux jacket. In the middle of photographing me getting into my dress, she helped me button the back of the dress. She happily took any shots I wanted, knew how to tell me to stand so that I looked my most flattering, got all of us to laugh to avoid our "camera faces" and was a delight to work with.

My new husband is an avid photographer so I was worried that we would have trouble finding the right one. We both found Carrie Jo independently due to her strong body of work, which settled who our photographer would be.

She is an excellent value for everything that she does, the skill she brings, and everything else. No good photographer is inexpensive; she was worth every penny. She's also willing to work with whatever budget you need and she certainly travels, as she lives in TN but does a lot of her photography in the Georgia area.

Carrie Jo was fantastic to work with. She photographed our wedding in April 2016. In the months before the wedding, Carrie Jo was extremely professional, working with all of our vendors. She put together a detailed spreadsheet timeline that included who would be photographed, when and where. This was very, very helpful, because it can be difficult organizing several vendors who all need guidance on how the event should progress. Carrie Jo worked with our desires, including a no-first-look wedding, and a difficult environment to capture beautiful wedding photos (our church is undergoing major expansion and renovations). We could not have asked for a better photographer. Carrie Jo was on top of everything and was well worth the money we spent.

What you're looking for in a photographer are awesome photos. That's a given. But that's not the entire story. You're looking for someone who puts everyone at ease, makes everyone feel like a rock star and doesn't get flustered when things don't go according to plan. Carrie Jo was wedding-coordinator-organized down to 15 minute increments and was the KEY to getting our day to progress in a logical manner. All without being a photo-nazi. She is a master storyteller, too, which is an important component because your photographer IS telling your story. She's not the fastest in getting photos back {but we do have 6 delicious shots to hold us over} and we know she is going to be well worth the wait. Can't say enough great things about Carrie Jo. We're over-the-moon for her!
