Teton Shadow exceeded all of our expectations! They were incredibly friendly and smiley the whole time, and were so pleasant to work with from start to finish. We had our wedding at Grand Targhee, and they played for about an hour during the reception dinner, followed by another hour-ish set for dancing. They learned an awesome rendition of our first dance song (which is not super well known so extra kudos), and they absolutely nailed it. They also played Sweet Child of Mine for the Mother-Daughter/Son dance, which everyone joined in on at the end. For the open dancing, they played an awesome collection of Irish songs that our family LOVED (including a reel that our cousins Irish danced to), and then some other sing-alongs which all of the guests got super into.

The cherry on top was them learning an extra song that I ended up playing with them for my wife as a susprise at the very end (Every Girl by Turnpike Troubadours)--they accompanied my guitar playing and singing so perfectly, and even sang harmony to lyrics that I made up, and we never even practiced! It was honestly the most fun I've ever had.

Teton Shadow was so great in every respect: incredibly value, the guests raved about them, and we wanted to keep hanging out with them after they were done. I wish I could give more stars. Thanks Nyk and Diane and the rest of the band for making our wedding day so magical and fun!

Extremely friendly and professional duo, so glad they were able to be a part of our wedding. They learned a song for our event and performed it beautifully. Fast communication and extremely accommodating. They taught a line dance at our wedding which was the highlight of the entire day. Thank you so much for everything!

We were looking for a bluegrass band for our wedding reception, and are so glad we found Teton Shadow Band. Nyk was incredibly responsive to our wedding planner and my partner and me, and took the time to meet with us on Zoom to hear what we were looking for. A duo played beautiful instrumental music during our ceremony, and then the whole band played a wide range of wedding music with a bluegrass sound. They learned 3 songs for us, and also helped DJ a playlist while they weren't playing. Nyk was incredibly accommodating to our requests, kind, and relaxed, and he and his band made the whole night fun. They even accommodated a special bluegrass rendition of the Hava Nagila which was one of the highlights of the night. We ended with a sing along "Wagon Wheel" with the band. We cannot thank the band enough, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band out West!

Teton Shadow was the PERFECT choice for our party. Nyk was so easy to work with, and I especially appreciate that he took the time to get to know me and my fiance to ensure that they were the right fit and that they would be able to execute our vision - which they did flawlessly. I truly cannot imagine the event without their melodic tunes setting the atmosphere. Looking forward to future opportunities to hire them again!

Would without question recommend Teton Shadow! Nyk and Diane were absolutely pleasure to work with and a joy to have at our wedding! They were genuinely happy to be a part of our special day, which made it all the more special. Their sound was absolutely spectacular, and our guests were dancing late until the night (we were sad to cut things off at 10pm!). We received so many complements from our guests about how much they loved the music and the fun they had on the dance floor. They were willing to work with us to put together a playlist for the night, and offered thoughtful insight for how to ensure things went smoothy. We were so happy we chose them to play at our wedding.

Working with Nyk, Diane and the entire band was amazing. They were always quick to respond, and they engaged with us early in our planning process to ensure we had the perfect song list for the wedding and reception. The entire band was very accommodating of our destination wedding, and they made sure their part of our wedding was seamless and perfect. Teton Shadow fulfilled everything we wanted out of our wedding band. They are skilled musicians who learned a song for our first dance that was pretty far outside their genre of expertise and killed it! It was so perfect they made it their own without changing it too dramatically.

Their set during the reception gave it an awesome vibe that was exactly what we had hoped for.

Additionally, they were super flexible and kind with us. They volunteered to do a lot around the reception to ensure it followed smoothly and were so accommodating with our own personal needs.
