About
Tahoma Plantation is a gorgeous family-owned countryside wedding venue in Blakely, Georgia. Owned by the Burkett family, this beautiful location is the culmination of love, dedication, hard work, and a shared dream to design something magical. Surrounded by rolling hills and majestic oaks and pines, Tahoma Plantation is a fabulous place to swap vows and say, "I do."
Facilities and Capacity
Tahoma Plantation offers a variety of versatile, fully customizable spaces to entice couples from all backgrounds and every walk of life. The recently restored barn was an original structure on the property, serving as a working horse barn until 2022. During the renovation, Mark and Annette Burkett found beauty in the snapped pines lying nearby, using them to restore the walls and flooring of the Tahoma barn. Accommodating 150 people, the building now proudly sits as the central gathering place for couples and their loved ones. The Bunkhouse, Arrowhead Cabin, and Shotgun House are just a few of the gorgeous little buildings on the property, designed to house newlyweds and their nearest and dearest. After the unforgettable reception comes to an end, it is just a short stroll to the lodgings for the first sleep as a married couple.
