Carmen informed me of things I had no idea about that helped me save money on our big day and she managed our crazy guest list. Having her help took off the pressure of having to answer everyone’s payment questions, airport pick up and any other concerns. Not to mention the concerns all my guests had with Covid and what was happening. Thank you So much for helping me plan my destination wedding to the beautiful Dominican Republic.

My husband and I initially booked our Hawaii honeymoon through Carmen in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. With covid and everything that came with it, we had to cancel and rebook. We are so happy she told us about and encouraged us to book the travel insurance that we did. We worked with her to cancel and rebook seamlessly.
She reached out to us earlier this year to inform us about Kauai's covid travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, and we pivoted our honeymoon to Aruba since they weren't requiring a quarantine at the time, and we wanted to avoid that. We booked at the Bucuti and Tara and it was absolutely beautiful. We loved it so much- she even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in our suite. She was also able to book our airport transfers which were seamless.
I would recommend Carmen for anyone looking for a travel agent. I had many phone calls with her, reschedules, and destination pivots. She was flexible, empathetic, and responsive.

Carmen Colicchio, of Suntastic Honeymoons, has been instrumental during the unprecedented travel crisis affected by Covid-19 starting March 2020. Carmen had planned a destination wedding and honeymoon to Punta Cana for my fiancée and I, scheduled for May 2020. In late March, with less than 2 months to go, we learned that our resort was closing down, with no reopening date projected. All our guests were booked, they had their plane tickets, and everything was selected and ready to go! Although rather disappointed, we understood the gravity of the situation, and Carmen not only provided us with comforting words, but assured us she would work with us and our guests to make it right! She quickly reached out to our guests and notified them, making sure we all got refunded for any deposits made through Suntastic Honeymoons. She also worked with the airlines to provide a credit back for the airfare she had booked for our guests. Her support meant everything to us during this time, and the fact that she also took such great care of our guests, so we didn’t have added stress, was truly priceless. I am so grateful and thankful for her and the services and support provided. A destination wedding is such a special occasion, no couple should have to go through this roller coaster, but she was with us the whole way through! And now, we have decided to post-pone out to May 2021, and we are very much looking forward to having Carmen take care of us again!

We worked with Carmen for our honeymoon in Italy. Carmen made the entire process very easy and straightforward, helping us come up with realistic plans within our budget. While our honeymoon was unfortunately postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis, we were fortunate to have Carmen to help us through the process of cancelling, rescheduling, and refunding us. She has been helpful and responsive throughout and we look forward to working with her when the world returns to normal!

Carmen has been amazing to deal with. We unfortunately had to move our honeymoon to next summer, but she made it super easy for us! Answered all of our questions perfectly, and was extremely fast to get back to us with everything. She has great knowledge of the industry, and helped us pick a location based on what our needs were. I worked with Carmen from Suntastic after being referred by a friend for a trip to Cabo a few years back. Carmen was so hands-on and helped us when there was an unexpected delay in the opening of the hotel where we were planning to stay. We had a great trip and no stress even with the change of plans thanks to Carmen's guidance. She also planned my sister's honeymoon 3 years ago and most recently, our September honeymoon in Hawaii which, unfortunately, we decided to postpone after our April wedding was postponed due to Covid.
With all of the uncertainty with our plans right now and our new date planned for November 2020 (fingers crossed) the last thing we wanted to stress about was a honeymoon that was supposed to be our opportunity to relax and start our married lives together. Carmen has been nothing but easy to communicate with, responsive, supportive and understanding of our decision to hold off on our honeymoon for now and we look forward to rebooking it with her soon.
Aside from the postponement, Carmen was extremely knowledgeable on where to stay, different options to fit into what we wanted to do as well as our budget and helped plan what I know will be an amazing trip. I wouldn't want to plan an important trip during these times without the help of a travel agent and would highly recommend Carmen and Suntastic for couples looking for a white glove experience.

We were referred to Carmen through a family member who was referred through a friend- already a good indication of the quality of her services. We have not been disappointed! Carmen booked our 2 week honeymoon to Greece that was supposed to follow our May 2020 wedding. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding to August. Carmen was incredibly helpful, understanding, and informative when we were figuring out what to do about the honeymoon. She made sure we knew about important dates regarding payment, and even helped us change one hotel so that the date to make a decision could be pushed back. Unfortunately, we decided it made the most sense to cancel our trip. Carmen was very helpful in letting us know about refund options etc. We will definitely work with Carmen again when we decide what to do moving forward. She's already been great with providing information about a new destination (Italy), when we might want to book that, and what insurance options we have. I would've already said we made the right decision to work with Carmen, but with everything that happened I believe that even more. We were so lucky to have her on our side during a very challenging time!
