Newly renovated 1881 Event Hall will meet and exceed your expectations with over 16,000 square feet of flexible spaces, including our 4,500 square foot Organza Ballroom and 3,200 square foot Oxford Ballrom, we are one of the largest wedding venues in Spartanburg, SC.
We are conveniently located on the westside of Spartanburg, South Carolina with easy acess to I-26. We are connected to the Hilton Garden Inn Spartanburg and walking distance to the Hampton Inn & Suites and Residence Inn Westgate so you have plenty of choices for your overnight hotel guests.

Best Wedding Venue
I had my NYE wedding at 1881 and it was literally the best decision I ever made. EVERYONE there was absolutely amazing and attentive. They truly made my day way less stressful. I was able to customize and put my own touch on everything. Tiffany was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend having your event, whatever it is, here. Also I had A LOT of compliments on our reception dinner (catered by Heirloom, which is in the same building!). Seriously cannot say enough nice things about everyone at 1881 and my experience with them!
