Suburban Bridal, a wedding gown shop located in Omaha, Nebraska, is celebrating 50 years in business September 2019. It is a family business, mother and daughter, which featured bridal gowns, veils, accessories, prom, social occasion gowns, and bridesmaid dresses. Mary Lou, designer and owner, grew the house of design steadily while their four daughters grew up! All of her daughters worked at the business part time while in school and college. After a business degree from the University in Lincoln, Lisa became the manager for oveer 26 years.
Most of the years in business Mary Lou designed the Private Collection which included several stores in different regions. When Mary Lou losst her daughter Lisa, great friend and manager, she decided to create the Lisa Lou Collection for only Suburban Bridal in honor of her daughter. The Lisa Lou Collection is growing rapidly, with three manufacturers overseas that only ship these designs to Suburban Bridal. This collection features hand-loomed lace and hand-beaded gowns including couture construction, eliminating advertising costs and distributions centers which then can be retailed at 75% to 25% below other vendors which uses the same quality fabrics and construction. Suburban Bridal has evolved into a House of Design that is able to take an existing gown and make the personal and custom changes that many brides want. Their excellent alteration staff has the expertise to accomodate your needs and preferences. This House of Design also has hair accessories, jewelry, and veils to provide the finishing touches.
So sorry for any inconvenience, however we no longer carry Prom, Homecoming, Bridesmaid, nor Social Occasion dresses. We are focusing just on Bridal Gowns.

Above and Beyond
Christine spent over an hour and a half with me and didn't make me feel rushed. The other consultant and her were very cognizant of my budget and didn't even bring out any that were in the higher end of my budget of $1,000-$1,500. These gowns were all gorgeous with handmade lace at very reasonable prices. I left my consultation without a dress, but had one I was on the fence about. I went to two more salons that day and gave them a call close to closing time asking if I could try it on once more. They had it pulled and ready to go when I arrived. All I needed was to try it on again and I knew it was mine. I would highly recommend Suburban Bridal to anyone in the search for a wedding dress. My future sister-in-law found her wedding dress here too. I spent about $1,300 for the dress, veil, and tax on them.Sent on 05/19/2019

Amazing service, best place in Omaha
After shopping at almost every bridal shop in town and feeling discouraged I walked into Suburban Bridal. The lady’s were very helpful. The owner was there and helped me customized my dress. I love the friendly assistants and no pressure to purchase. Best in Omaha!Sent on 09/08/2019

I received so many compliments!
The lovely woman who owns this boutique sold me my dress, and THEN told me she designed it! She knew so much about the fabric, and I was the only one in the small store. It was a wonderful experience. The dress was cheaper than it would have been elsewhere (about 1/3 the cost). I would recommend this place 1000 times over!Sent on 07/01/2019
