When it comes to floral arrangements and bringing to life the client's vision, Monica is a magician. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Monica this fall for our 100 person wedding. After conducting thorough research and speaking to countless Bay Area florists, we came across Gray Rabbit. From our very first virtual meeting, Monica struck us as an incredibly genuine, creative, and flexible florist with many years of experience. Monica excels at her craft: from brainstorming gorgeous, contemporary floral designs with us to never losing sight of the broader vision (despite her strong sense of detail!), she went above and beyond in giving us the confidence that everything would be taken care of.

Gray Rabbit sets itself apart from other Bay Area florists in two distinct ways:

1) Co-creating the client's vision and being adaptable - several other florists we spoke to were unwilling to discuss designs and flower changes without charging extra. Not only were they more expensive, but they were also less willing to partner with us, touting their experience in the industry as a reason to let them do their thing. Monica, on the other hand, made the experience feel like complete collaboration. From suggesting specific flower and plants, to sharing ideas she had to make the florals personal to us, Monica was always a joy to work with.

2) Going above and beyond - On the day of the wedding, Monica graciously stepped in to help with preparations outside of her domain. When she saw that our cake could use some extra decorations, she proactively asked if she could add a few flowers to the cake, which turned out beautifully. She also incorporated our love of rabbits into our wedding, placing two paper mâché rabbits at the alter + sweetheart table, and decorating my bridal bouquet with a meaningful purple rabbit pin. She even gifted us a beautiful gift, which we discovered the next day. Everything about working with Monica, especially the small, unexpected details, was perfect. We are so grateful to getting the opportunity to work with her, and we look forward to doing so again for future events!

Monica from Stems Marin was so great for our wedding. We had a large wedding (250 people) and Monica didn't flinch when we told her how many arrangements we would need only 3 weeks away from the wedding. Working back and forth via phone and email was smooth. Monica took care of all the set-up seamlessly and we were 110% satisfied!

1000000% recommend working with Monica! From start to finish she was so professional, friendly and responsive (somewhat of a rarity in the wedding industry). The process to design the florals was very collaborative. She was also so receptive to working with my budget. I provided Monica with a my Pinterest boards for inspiration and she promptly provided a flower board and description of which of the flowers each arrangement would have. As we got closer to the wedding date, I wanted to slightly tweak the design, Monica was super receptive to my changes. The end result was even more beautiful that I had even imagined. I wished I could have spent all day looking at all of her beautiful arrangement but alas, as they say, the wedding day goes by in a flash! Work with Monica, you won't regret it!!!
