Absolute perfection
Monica is AMAZING! As others have said before, do not hesitate to hire her. From our very first phone call I knew working with Monica to bring my dream flowers to life was going to be a breeze. She took all of my ideas and turned them into real life perfection! She is reasonably priced, professional, and an all around pleasure to work with! You can't go wrong :) -

Working with Monica was incredible. She took the time to listen to our vision, came back with some suggestions super fast and worked with us to deliver such beautiful arrangements that were exactly like what we had imagined. I would definitely recommend Monica. -

Gorgeous taste, receptive to feedback, and delightful
Monica of Gray Rabbit was just the best. She was our favorite vendor, and did an incredible job with the flowers. She knew the venue really well, and helped us think through details that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise, such as small floral arrangements for the bathrooms.
Monica was also really budget-conscious, and I never felt like she was upsold or pressured us to do more than what I was comfortable with. She thought through ways to repurpose bouquets for center pieces, but focus on statement bouquets and the arbor decorations which made the ceremony setting pop.
She also took feedback really well. When we were choosing the colors and types of flowers she iterated on a couple of designs, and was very patient when we changed our mind after our initial call.
Finally, Monica's warm and calming presence was so needed and wonderful. We didn't feel that with all of our vendors, but Monica was a constant source of cheer and positivity. She's organized and has it together - you don't have to worry because she has it under control! If there's one vendor I'd recommend, it's Gray Rabbit for your florist! -

1000000% recommend working with Monica! From start to finish she was so professional, friendly and responsive (somewhat of a rarity in the wedding industry). The process to design the florals was very collaborative. She was also so receptive to working with my budget. I provided Monica with a my Pinterest boards for inspiration and she promptly provided a flower board and description of which of the flowers each arrangement would have. As we got closer to the wedding date, I wanted to slightly tweak the design, Monica was super receptive to my changes. The end result was even more beautiful that I had even imagined. I wished I could have spent all day looking at all of her beautiful arrangement but alas, as they say, the wedding day goes by in a flash! Work with Monica, you won't regret it!!! -

My now husband Peter and I can't recommend Monica and her business Gray Rabbit more highly! We worked with Monica for our outdoor wedding at Rancho Nicasio last month. Monica was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting with her, Monica was warm and friendly and made the process of selecting our wedding flowers completely stress-free and a really fun, creative experience. She was very responsive and professional and I looked forward to all of our communications. I had an idea of the color palette I wanted and some flowers I liked and Monica took this information and created the wedding flowers of my dreams. Monica is extremely knowledgeable about everything flower related and is very creative. We received so many compliments on the flowers from our wedding guests. Monica is a true gem and I'm already daydreaming about other occasions to work with her again. Thank you, Monica! -

Monica is amazing
I had to talk to so many florists before I found Monica and I feel very lucky to have found her. First off, she is very organized. She gives you a summary of flowers with images and descriptions so you know exactly what she has in mind.
She is also EXTREMELY reasonable with pricing. When I showed a bit of concern with my budget, she completely understood and did everything she can to fit my budget. I literally am so lucky to have found her.

I have read hundreds, if not thousands, of vendor reviews while planning my September 2021 wedding and let me tell you... you can stop the endless scrolling now. I cannot stress enough how amazing Monica is! My search for wedding vendors was extensive (not to mention, exhausting), and hiring Monica at Gray Rabbit was the easiest wedding planning decision I ever made.
Firstly, she is a joy to work with. Her positivity is infectious and she was able to take my vision to the next level and execute it flawlessly. She was extremely responsive throughout all our communication prior to the wedding (which was SO helpful) and was an overall delight to work with.
Second, she has an obvious passion for her craft, attention to detail, and an overall creative ingenuity that helped turn my vision into an incredible reality! Our floral arrangements were far beyond what I could have ever dreamed of. She talked me through multiple different floral arrangement styles and table decor, various types of flowers within our color palette, and in the end created the most beautiful florals that we will never forget. She designed all the arrangements for the wedding party, the ceremony rows, our wedding arch, cake, and table decor. Did I mention that we got married in Colorado? Yes, she then flew everything out to a little ski town where we got married and created our dream wedding. She went above and beyond for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier to have her as our florist. She honestly turns ideas into floral magic and I will forever recommend her for any wedding/birthday/funeral/any event you need flowers for!

Monica was by far the BEST vendor of my whole wedding planning journey! Her artistry, color theory, and creativity are beyond this world but also her caring and sweet personality made her my favorite person to talk wedding planning with. She was able to bring my vision to life in the most beautiful way. I am a VERY detailed oriented person and Monica went beyond my expectations. We got tons of compliments from guests. A funny story, the one task my fiance had was ordering the cake. He wanted to get it from our favorite bakeries however, they didn't have a lot of experience with wedding cakes. Comes the wedding day, they had taken the chocolate cake quite literally and the cake was black and white. I was about to have a heart attack but Monica was able to save the day and bring it to life in the most amazing way! Who would have thought a black and white wedding cake could be this beautiful! Working with Monica was truly an incredible experience. Not only did she go above and beyond to make our wedding gorgeous, she was also super flexible with us changing our date multiple times due to covid. I gave Monica very little guidance and she somehow nailed exactly what I wanted - I would say even better than I could have imagined. I got so many compliments on the flowers and arrangements - she brought my whole "rustic chic" vibe to life. Do not hesitate to hire Gray Rabbit (Monica) to be the florist for your next wedding or event! She was one of my favorite vendors for my August 2021 wine country wedding and I am honored that my wedding photos are currently on display here on weddingwire and her website.
I first met Monica at a wedding fair back in early 2020. Then COVID hit, and my wedding and planning got put on pause. Fast forward to March / April 2021, I reached out to Monica and after a few correspondences, I knew she was the florist for me! Monica worked at ILM before becoming a florist, so you know she understands what goes into producing a high-quality product. Monica is friendly and warm and took the time needed to understand the colors, vision, and style I had in mind for my wedding. She worked with my budget and suggested ways to repurpose florals throughout the night to help keep costs down.
I wouldn't say I was a bridezilla, but I'm definitely a perfectionist by nature..... A bride wants what a bride wants. Monica handled all my requests with stride and spent a lot of time corresponding with me via email or zoom to ensure my wedding florals were just what I wanted. On the wedding day, the florals were beautiful and perfectly captured my lush garden romantic vibe. We saved the flowers to reuse at our post-wedding brunch and they still looked great the following day.
Now, more than a year later, my mom still comments on how beautiful the day and the flowers were! If you are considering hiring Monica for your wedding, I highly recommend doing it. You won't regret it! -

Monica was so great to work with throughout the entire planning process for our small San Francisco wedding ceremony! She listened to what we wanted and made sure that we were always on the same page - I was also incredibly impressed by how quickly Monica got us a proposal and responded to emails. Our ceremony flowers were gorgeous and perfectly fit in with the natural backdrop of the park where we got married! -

Above and Beyond!
When it comes to floral arrangements and bringing to life the client's vision, Monica is a magician. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Monica this fall for our 100 person wedding. After conducting thorough research and speaking to countless Bay Area florists, we came across Gray Rabbit. From our very first virtual meeting, Monica struck us as an incredibly genuine, creative, and flexible florist with many years of experience. Monica excels at her craft: from brainstorming gorgeous, contemporary floral designs with us to never losing sight of the broader vision (despite her strong sense of detail!), she went above and beyond in giving us the confidence that everything would be taken care of.
Gray Rabbit sets itself apart from other Bay Area florists in two distinct ways:
1) Co-creating the client's vision and being adaptable - several other florists we spoke to were unwilling to discuss designs and flower changes without charging extra. Not only were they more expensive, but they were also less willing to partner with us, touting their experience in the industry as a reason to let them do their thing. Monica, on the other hand, made the experience feel like complete collaboration. From suggesting specific flower and plants, to sharing ideas she had to make the florals personal to us, Monica was always a joy to work with.
2) Going above and beyond - On the day of the wedding, Monica graciously stepped in to help with preparations outside of her domain. When she saw that our cake could use some extra decorations, she proactively asked if she could add a few flowers to the cake, which turned out beautifully. She also incorporated our love of rabbits into our wedding, placing two paper mâché rabbits at the alter + sweetheart table, and decorating my bridal bouquet with a meaningful purple rabbit pin. She even gifted us a beautiful gift, which we discovered the next day. Everything about working with Monica, especially the small, unexpected details, was perfect. We are so grateful to getting the opportunity to work with her, and we look forward to doing so again for future events!Gray Rabbit's reply:

I honestly out of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, was most pleased with Monica. She was SO responsive and helpful. I would ask her the most random of questions and she would reply back within hours, sometimes even less, every time. She even gave me tips on saving money here and there and was so patient as I went back and forth on certain things. She was very affordable but even better, very talented. Where to even begin?! I wish I could get married all over so we could have Monica’s gorgeous flowers once again completely take our breath away! Our family and friends were blown away and we could not be more grateful for how beautiful everything turned out. We were incredibly lucky to find Stems Marin and and the entire experience of working with Monica from start to finish made her our favorite wedding vendor! Monica from Stems Marin was so great for our wedding. We had a large wedding (250 people) and Monica didn't flinch when we told her how many arrangements we would need only 3 weeks away from the wedding. All of our guests have commented on how beautiful the flowers were at our wedding and flowers are usually not too noticed unless they are unique, and they were! Monica was a pleasure to work with right from the start, I was able to send her a link to my Pinterest board since I'm no expert and she came back with a through proposal and worked with me to fit in my budget. Then as the wedding approached, I added more flowers and needed at different tables, which she helped figure out how we could move pew flowers to cocktail tables etc, and she also added a gorgeous garland for around a chandelier which now looks amazing in all our dancing photos! On top of the great organization and beautiful arrangements, she also was there at the wedding to help the groomsmen put on their boutonnieres and to move flower arrangements around from ceremony to cocktail hour which I had never heard of a florist doing. I was SO impressed and can't believe the great service I received. I would use Monica again in a heartbeat!
