Scott is Defiance born and raised. He graduated from Adrian College in 1992, where he and Audrey met in marketing class. Scott has been with Stambaugh Jewelers since he joined his father, David, and Grandfather, Troy, in the business in 1993. In 2008 Scott completed his Graduate Gemologist degree from The Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
