His price was fairly low for my area, so that was a plus. I booked him in April/May for my wedding in July. He told me he would call me in June to discuss music choices and set-up. He never called, so I finally called him 10 days before the wedding. After leaving several messages, he finally called me back. He said that he had been on vacation and had planned on calling me a few days before the wedding. I gave him a list of songs to be played for the mother-son, daughter-dad dances, as well as a few that I wanted played during the crowd dancing (I even went as far as to burn all of these songs for him on a CD so he would have them). I requested "rat-pack era" jazz to be played during the cocktail hour, such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. During the cocktail hour, he played more of a broad oldies mix, instead of the jazz I requested. He did play the songs requested for the dad-daughter and so on dances, but he didn't play a single song I told him to play during the crowd dancing. In addition, he played all the wedding staples ("Shout," "The Chicken Dance," etc.) that I told him NOT to play. We also paid him to stay until 10:00, but he left at 9:30.
