Squires was a great caterer for our wedding! They are one of the approved caterers for the 1840s Ballroom so we felt good knowing they had been tested. We were looking for good food at a reasonable price and definitely feel Squires lived up to all expectations! They are not as fancy as some of the other places we visited but in the end, the food was good and our guests left happy! We were able to offer a crabcake/steak dinner and stay within our budget. Also, their prices for a premium bar cannot be beat! Richard Bell was great to work with and answered any questions we had. At the ballroom, the caterer is responsible for setting up everything and he was great setting the chairs and bringing extra tables for our ceremony!

We could not be more pleased with Squires. Not only was the food phenomenal but they really care about your ceremony, celebration and tailoring to your needs. We felt like they were part of the family by the end of the night. They took care of every detail and are affordable! Guests commented on the good food and they were very helpful in making sure that my husband and I had everything we needed.

Choosing a caterer took the longest for us as we went to 4 food tastings with 4 different caterers that seemed to be within our budget. In the end we went with Squires because Richard Bell the Catering Manager seemed to be the most knowldgeable that we had met with, and further more he offered us the best deal! We were concerned about the amount of waitstaff that a caterer would provide for our wedding because we wanted our guests to receive great service. Service was important to us, and we did not want it to take a long time for our guests to be served. He promised us 6 or more servers will be on hand for our wedding, while the other caterers only offered 4 servers. Only 4 servers for a 100 guest wedding had us worried, so we are glad we went with Squires because the service was EXCELLENT. Their staff was very knowledgeable, and one of their servers actually informed my brother on how to give the blessing for dinner since our pastor was not able to make it to the reception. Overall, the Food was DELICIOUS! The service was GREAT! The Linens Squires provided turned out to be PERFECT! Richard Bell, and his wife were great to work with, and we had a perfect experience with Squires. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Baltimore area who is looking for a caterer that offers great food, and great service at a great price! Richard Bell was very flexible with us, and made everything easy! Thanks Squires!
