Linda and Curt at the Speedway are so wonderful to work with! Any questions we had, they were available and quick to respond. We were able to get into the venue the day before to decorate (at no extra cost), and it was such a relief to be able to take care of that piece the day before. They have a very large dance floor that they do not set any tables on, so there's no awkward transition period from dinner to dance. Our reception felt like a fairy tale come true. I recommend the Speedway Event Center to anyone who is looking for a great venue for an amazing price.

Speedway was the first venue in town to respond. The owner has always gotten back to us very quickly on any questions we hae had. The venue offers a lot of options and has table linens (black or white) and uplighting for the head table free of charge. The venue is free with a catering order. I think there is a minimum of $500 food order. Bar setup is also free with no minimums and kegs/wine can be purchased in advance as well as drink tickets. Ceremonies can be held on site for an extra $200. There are many dinner options from chicken strips to ribs to cordon bleu. They are very flexible about decorations (probably no confetti though) and allow you to bring in your own late night snacks (Chips, chex mix, etc.). Seats up to 500 people I believe and has a great dance floor with a stage for the dj.
