I was very happy I went with Spa Luce for my wedding. We had our wedding at the Hotel Blackhawk, and it was SO great to just go upstairs after we were done instead of driving across town.

There a slight mix up with the timing (most likely on my part), but everyone was so efficient that we still stayed on schedule. They allowed mimosas and food during the appointments which was nice too.

Becky the manager was very professional. Nasreen, who did my makeup was super sweet and talked through things before hand and as she went along so there were no surprises.

Olivia was able to do my hair exactly how we had talked about and it stayed in place all day without feeling stiff.

I was even able to pop in for a touch up during a break from pictures.

Highly recommend this salon!!

I had my hair and makeup done at Spa Luce at the Blackhawk Hotel for my wedding on 9/21/13. Many of my bridesmaids and family members also had their hair and/or makeup done too. Everyone looked fantastic. I was very happy with my hair and makeup and got lots of compliments. And it was so convenient being near both the Hotel Blackhawk and the Raddisson for our guests!

My maids and I also had our nails done on 9/20 and we had a blast! The atmosphere is so chic and we loved picking out colors and catching up before the big day. Thanks Spa Luce, for getting us all in right around the same time! It was a fabulous experience.

My only criticism is there were a couple of instances of scheduling confusion. Granted, we did book a lot of appointments but there were a few instances where we had to shift things around after it seemed like things were taken care of. However, these issues were pretty easily taken care of.
