Southwest Events and Tee Pee Rentals made our gala spectacular! The naked Tee Pee Lounge was a tremendous hit as were the s'more fire tables at the end of the evening. An overall great experience with luxury rentals.

Southwest Teepee played a significant part in one of the most EPIC and historic weddings in Scottsdale, Arizona. My husband and I were the first same-sex couple to get married at "The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch" in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to our wedding, my husband, Nick and I made international news when we created the first ever "Same Sex Barbie Wedding Set" for our niece's 8th birthday. Our creation went viral around the world and brought lots of attention to our wedding day. Knowing that, it was important for us to find local wedding vendors to work with who believed in our message - "Love Is Love."

Southwest Teepee Owner, Susie Alofs was one of those people. Her contagious spirit and happy energy was so refreshing. She not only believed in our message, but was 100% onboard to an idea that we don't think was ever done before. We asked her and the other vendors involved to surprise us on what our wedding decor would look like on our wedding day. My husband and I wanted to add a surprise element, and leave the magic of decor up to the people that do it best. Susie's grand wedding tent served as the centerpiece for our ceremony. I will never forget walking into the ceremony space and seeing the most beautiful wedding tent. It was a statement - a major statement. You can see from our beautiful photos (that were featured in "People," "Bride," "Yahoo," and many more) how luxurious it looks. If you are planning on having a wedding that will take your guest's breath away - you must use Southwest Teepee.

As my husband and I reflect back to our special day, we will always have gratitude for Susie Alofs and everyone that took part in making the first same-sex wedding at The Scottsdale Resort one to remember.

AVOID. FIND ANOTHER VENDOR.
2 hours late for delivery on day of rehearsal dinner - and without notice. Had to call 5x before getting accurate ETA. Could not wait any longer as rehearsal ceremony was starting. Delivery team called in middle of rehearsal, angry that we were not there to receive delivery.
Best part - furniture showed up broken! One of the sofas had an arm barely hanging on by a screw.

Emailed next day with official complain. Radio silence. No apology afterwards, nor on day-of while on the phone.

If you’re getting married in PHX/Scottsdale area, go elsewhere. They’re available for a reason - nobody wanted to deal with them.
